We don't need our newly acquired star blabbing to the media about anything in the locker room.

As this weird season wears on, I'm warming up to the idea of making major moves in the off-season that include just about everybody except Sabonis, Keon, and maybe Murray.

If Lavine doesn't want to take a couple months and ingratiate himself to his new team the smallest bit by simply not gossiping, he can be traded too.

I consider this a 10/10 leadership type response from Keon though.

He's producing this year, he's just a bad defender. I like the 4-team suggestion by @twslam07 the other day to send him to Dallas where AD can clean up his mistakes. I just don't think Boston would do that deal.
Yeah, if DAL could add DeRozan while keeping Washington, I like it a lot for them. They could start…

Irving
Thompson or Christie
Washington
Davis
Lively

…which would be a really strong starting lineup with a lot of size, length, and defense while having two excellent go-to scorers in Irving and Davis. Then they’d have a very strong trio off the bench in DeRozan, Marshall, and Thompson/Christie.

To close games, they could go with their starting lineup or they could shift Davis to C, Washington to PF, and have DeRozan close games out at SF.

To your point, DAL has a lot of great defenders and who have excellent length (Davis, Lively, & Washington) but also have some snipers (Irving & Thompson) to keep the floor spaced for him. I like the fit a lot especially if he can buy into the 6th man role.

Zach got benched for quite a bit and it is understandable that he is a bit miffed. However, he has only himself to blame as he was not being aggressive or smart. Christie could have run some plays for him but we don't do that stuff here at the Kings. In our freelance offense, he needs to be more proactive and get himself open and take his chances. If he cuts or keeps moving off ball, he would get the ball. Quietly standing in the corner or not taking the open shot and dribbling oneself into traffic for a tougher shot should justifiably get one benched. It's up to Zach and the coaching staff to work this out.

Eddie house is on the Boston telecast and in the 4th quarter he ripped into round table which he said is his favorite pizza and that it totally sucked yesterday. He threw out what he ordered and how much he paid and he said it was really bad. Poor guy thinks round table pizza is good pizza!
I think this was a conversation a couple years ago but I was wondering if it has changed. I love me a great pie and old town pizza in Roseville, auburn, and Lincoln is my choice for the best pizza I’ve ever had. I’d love to try some new pizza places here in the valley.

Cutting, setting screens: both are needed in the Kings' offense. Players who come from Duke or Princeton know how to make those backdoor cuts. Too bad the Kings no longer have Pete Carril on the bench, or someone trained by him.

Screening and overall off-the-ball movement were better last night, at least.

IMO, all pizza is just varying levels of delicious. Agreed on Old town pizza in Auburn. Always enjoyed the old school pizzeria atmosphere there.

The King Arthur Supreme at Round Table used to be good. In the last few years they have been cutting corners on their product and I've not been there since then. The expense is also outrageous for what you get.

Now, Moose's Tooth in Anchorage, AK is the place to go. San Vito Ristorante Italiano & Brick Oven Pizza in Ashburn, VA (Washington, DC area) is also a place worth visiting.

Sometimes Round Table has local brews that are quite good if you are into that...also expensive.

If Zach issues lately are not related with the squad he should take some time off (like it happened with Wiggins a couple of years ago) and then come back. I know that "traditionally" Kings aren't resting players but whatever bothers him the last 2 weeks has been hurting the team as well. If the reason is related with the Kings then I don't know what can be done... dead end at this point cause for sure he isn't getting benched under any circumstances (because Christie is not willing to do so, not with him, not with Deebo not with Monk etc).
just my opinion but I don’t think Zach meant anything by the vibes are not good comment. I took it to mean guys want to win, they aren’t happy with the losing as opposed to some internal turmoil.

I agree. I think people are taking it out of context.

However, his lack of effort on both ends (until the game is out of hand) is probably leading people to believe he doesn’t like being here and helping them jump to that conclusion

His play and demeanor likely has more to do with whatever personal issues he is dealing with. But if he can’t give a better effort than this right now than he shouldn’t be playing until he is in a better place and ready to come back. I hope the best for him.
