I know it hurts the tank but look how much fun the people paying for tickets are having.

As long as I know Perry isn't going to think he should stop with the idea of trading DDR, Wesbrook and others, I'm very happy for the Kings fans who paid their hard earned money to see the Kings win. If, on the other hand, Perry gets a call from Vivek to call off the trades because, "We have a nice win streak going and why stop a good thing?" then I wouldn't be happy.

It's no coincidence that in all of the Kings' last five wins, they scored at least 111 points. They are second to last in average points per game, above only Brooklyn, and 25th in assists per game.

He's probably thinking that the whole reason he brought in Westbrook, was for a 2nd half run at the post season. Don't be surprised if he's still starting after the deadline

I don't think that you and I use the word "forgot" the same way: I had a list of 40 events that I then whittled down to 25, which I then whittled down to 12, which I finally whittled down to 9. Both of the events in your post made my initial list, neither of them made the first cut.
I do think that you and I use the word "forgot" the same way...I also do think that you read too much into my comment...I was simply responding directly to your poll, and the last option listed "Damn It, Slim, you forgot______!". Additionally, how would one know what makes your "initial list" versus what doesn't? To be honest with you, I am even surprised that both events I mentioned made the list - I figured one would for sure (and for obvious reasons). I never would've expected the other one to...:):):)

Did anyone else feel like Sabonis was jumping more/higher?

I feel like he was going after some shots around the rim and close outs with some more lift than I remember but maybe it’s just due to me not watching him for awhile since he’s been out with injury.
Agreed. In addition, perhaps because of the better health/lift, he seemed more productive on the offensive end. Usually, he misses shots around the rim more than expected. In this game, he seemed to consistently make those shots more often.

I think we need to go away from so much DHO when Sabonis is in.

The vibes appear to suddenly be immaculate once more lmao
Props to Coach DC who is far from perfect but is clearly doing some things right. I don’t know too many people that could get a team like this to give the effort they’re giving after a franchise worst opening to a season through 30 games or whatever it was.

Absolutely. The 11 games he did play this season were completely different. There were at least two different injuries he had no business playing through, hamstring and ribs. I don’t even know how the hell he did it

We really need him to be quick enough to stay in front of 4s.

I’m curious as to what he was working on the time he was out. A oartial torn meniscus probably limited him in terms of dynamic movements, but he was likely still able to lift and do core work, shooting and drills.

Counterpoint: I don't expect websites on the internet to be thorough, and I'm allowing for the possibility that I may have legitimately overlooked something.

While they are older players, on paper the team should be a LOT better than it is record wise. 5 years ago if you said we had Schroder 14/6/3, DeRozan 27/5/5, Westbrook 22/11/11, Lavine 27/5/5, Sabonis 19/12/9 as your five top players I would have said this was a championship team (ON PAPER, remember, I am saying ON PAPER!). Toss in Monk, McDermot (who was averaging 12ppg and hitting 44% of 3pt shots, and Saric who was a great backup big man this team could have killed it.

Of course we all know the game isn't played on paper and the guys we have don't play very well together. Toss in guys like Precious, Murray, Ellis, Clifford and Raynaud and it seems like the team does better over the more established players, because they are playing a role instead of trying to be the main guy. If the vets realize that they are here to help the young guys then we could have something, but I don't expect it, and these 4 wins are pretty much a fluke. We will not win 30 games this year, and I hope that we get back to the losing ways.

???

Even with all of those guys in their respective primes, they couldn't play dead on defense.
