Like I said to... I think his name was Angelo, last time, this is what winning is like. People only see guys on the top of the summit and think that looks like the most glorious thing ever, yet they never realize the pain and suffering and scrapping by the teeth throughout the journey because they never won before themsleves and had no idea what it takes.
I constantly have to remind myself that it’s been twenty years since the Kings were actually good before this so there’s a whole generation of Kings fans that have no idea how normal seasons of basketball look lol

Hope Keon won’t be out too long. Last five minutes were far too stressful but we made our FTs, got officiated fairly, and have now taken 5 straight at home. Surely this will jinx it but Coach Christie is perfect at home which is something we always struggled with under Brown. I hope that’s part of his desire to amend for 2002. Arco was a fortress.

It's a tough road heavy schedule going forward, so it's even more imperative to win home games.

I'll say this though, if Christie gets this team to say 43/44 wins, it will be one hell of a turnaround effort

Houston is one tough team to beat. They kept coming back and coming back, but the Kings stood tall and made the plays in the last five minutes of the game.

it’s funny because the guy who in the past has been considered a bad defender was their second best guy tonight ( Big Sumac)

So after 15 pages worth of people bitching and moaning about Fox, the Kings pretty much only win this game because Dillon Brooks couldn’t defend Fox without fouling him and De’Aaron’s become a good enough FT shooter to make them pay.

They can't ***** about Deebo obviously like some of them had done before.

Honestly this is why winning is hard. Most people would come to that crossroad between winning by giving up some of the best things in their lives, or losing and keeping their lives intact, and they would choose the latter.

It's just not made for everyone.

If we were the Rockets we would be furious with the refs BUT they had so many steals/kick balls that could be called that werent. They foul like 60 times per match, 30 of them are whistled, and they get mad about 20 of them. That's how they've been last season when they couldn't win on the road cause the fouls were called there, yeah they are good defensive team but we couldn't play as hard in defense as them without getting whistles the whole time.

Enough out of you. If fox played half his potential this game isn't close. Only reason Rockets was even in this game is because of fox.
Strongly disagree. I saw one ineffective player on the Kings getting exploited on defense repeatedly while the Rockets were coming back. Until we have somebody who can move Lyles/Len out of the rotation, focusing on our valuable players is crazy. Fox might not always have a great game. With the guys around him, he shouldn't need to every game. But our frontcourt depth is a constant issue.

If Keon out for a stretch someone refresh me what Carter’s status is? Was tonight rest for the surgery shoulder?
