We honestly passed too much in the last couple of minutes. We kept passing out of early isos into Malik/Lyles two-man looks and never really reset the isos after that.
Or offense consisting of pass it to fox and watch him shoot sucks. Sure he makes a lot, but the other team is playing like a dam team. We litterslky stop our offense flow in 4th and start believing this derozen fox closer hype. I'm over it. Falling for all these pump fakes. Sick

It's for the best fellas this squad never had any dog in them.
When we went back up I believe by 5 I was writing a post about how I’m glad they will win but it’s the worst possible win they could have mustered. It was just going to extend the belief that this team can pull it together. We needed either a blowout statement win (which it looked like we were going to get) or we needed a heartbreaker to push this thing over the cliff.

I know fox had an incredible second half, but these are the sorts of defensive inconsistencies that prevent him from being great defensively. He’s a good on ball defender, when he tries, but otherwise he just doesn’t defend smart. You’re up 3 with 10 seconds left hedging off your man? And then follow that up by leaving your feet on the close out? Come on dude, that’s inexcusably boneheaded.

+1 to everyone criticizing the isos down the stretch - I agree. Also, Keegan Murray scored 9 p in a blink of an eye in the 1st Q and finished with just 11. That is wild. He was slashing for driving dunks to start and down the stretch all he was doing was fadeaway 25 footers - Someone's gotta be in his ear to maintain the aggressiveness he had early.

Fox needs to go. He sealed his deal letting his agent Rich Paul come here and speak for him. Trade his ass to Atlanta for Trae Young. Get him the **** out of here. Let him feel what it's like in basketball hell. I'm done with Fox

The Pistons made their last 6 shots. We did this against Denver, and against New Orleans and more. We have to be the worst 4th quarter team in the league. How are talking about a loss right now?
A defensive coach prioritizing nothing but offense at the end of games. If that's the plan, Fox has to pretty much never stand over at the corner and watch someone else run the offense. At least in the clutch This tired movie has been seen over and over and yep, this is largely on Brown along with Fox for not putting his foot down offensively the entire time. Let alone when Domas isn't out there to run pnr with Monk.
