We have had 2 stars since Chris Webber. Demarcus Cousins and dearron Fox. Neither time have we been able to get a team around them that worked and as it turns out we will lose Fox just like cousins. It’s done deal.

Uh oh. We know who the resident ball walker and roller is. Sounds like a shot
It was, and he's not wrong TBH, but this is close to a wrap on the Mike Brown era if the Kings history is any indication. This is all stuff we've seen and heard so many times before. He's pulled out those "get 'em inspired" cards too many times already. If something did happen with Brown a lot of the Cavs fans pretty much hit that nail on the head on what to watch out for.

So Ordinary That It's Truly Quite Extraordinary

Brown has gotten a lot more pointed with his post game pot shots. Obviously there is plenty of blame to go around but I can’t imagine it’s all peaches and cream with Fox and Brown right now, regardless of how much Daaron says he wants to be coached hard.
I love Fox. He is Sacramento through and through. And that is absolutely a backhanded compliment.

Amick said this morning that so far there is no smoke to the Monte/Brown firing deal. It’s viewed as a player issue. Losses like this could flip things though
I love the culture Brown set for this team two years ago and I like the idea of stability, but at this point I can’t keep watching games like this and think brown isn’t part of the problem. I absolutely do not think firing the coach will then result in us turning around the season, but I just don’t think he’s as good of a coach now than he was when he first got here. Way too many things he does that has me shaking my head.

Well, at least Brown just called out Fox for the stupid play and foul to lose the game
Fox is a hell of a player, scorer and 1 on 1 defender. But put in the position where he has to make a quick read and react play he just doesnt have it, and that applies to both ends. That’s what limits his ceiling to a fringe all star caliber player from being up there with the SGAs and Lukas.

If Fox ended up gone it was a miracle they even built a playoff team on that timeline Monte had. The Kings screwed Fox around from day 1. Pushing him next to other PG's, bringing in veterans like Zbo to take shots when Fox was still the most talented player on the team from day 1, etc. Monte pushed all of his chips around him, which most times that player would have been gone already.

yeh I don’t really have a strong opinion on it. It’s super messy that’s for sure

Real interesting. Wonder if that means Vivek will let Monte/Brown go through a rebuild. I cannot imagine he lets this thing go much further out of hand without something changing.

And little ancillary deals like trading Huerter or Lyles won't make a difference.
