I don't understand what? I have said I am ready to trade him to Houston or San Antonio for 2 of their recent lotto picks and picks and swaps.

I just don't think Trae is the way to go. That's an all eggs in one basket move and just another kick the can we'll still suck maybe even worse move.
When you get out of fantasy land and realize he isn’t returning anything close to that it’ll be better for you

In the last three seasons, Fox and Young's three-point percentages have been identical.
The level of difficulty does not equal. Foxs 3pt attempts are not the same as Youngs. Not even close. Fox has better shooters around him.

He definitely can't utilize them as well. That is obvious in the assists between the two. Trae Young gets to the ft line better, makes his teammates better, and has less talent around him at the same time.

So tell me another story slim piston.

Is that where ATL is at? Just curious because I thought last year there was talk that they had to get off Trae?
Have you heard any talk this year? Because I'm guessing you haven't. And let's not forget that the supposed talk about moving him last year resulted in them parting ways with Dejounte Murray, instead.

Ah, I don't see a clown. I see hurt feelings. I could be way off base but Brown over this season has really been throwing little passive aggressive pot shots at Fox. Like how Fox shouldn't have to get angry and tonight with the rolling the ball out stuff. Two wrongs don't make a right and right now I think Fox and Brown are both wrong in some ways and it's compounding. Fox will take the hit, but that hit was watching the Pistons steamroll you defensively and all you're thinking about is "the offense is slowing down!". Wha....?
Good post. Been trying to really think through what's going wrong this season and while everyone wants to point to whoever their least favorite aspect of this org is (take your pick), I think we're just seeing a death by a thousand cuts sort of scenario play out. Little mistakes here and there, Huerter and Keegan not shooting as they should, injuries stacking up this year, weird rotation decisions, not playing Keon at the right times, defensive miscues, etc. All these seemingly minor aspects just add up into the crap-storm we've gotten this year.

Get over it. Guy is asking to be payed like a max allstar and can't take a jab or step up to leadership? Cry me a river. If anything he should be saying these things about himself so brown doesn't have to. Feel like he's the one throwing brown under the bus by staying quiet all the dam time

I know the Murray move has re-balanced their roster but I thought they were desperate to move Trae last year and there were no takers.

I would rather have Fox than Trae and I think Fox has more value around the league. Maybe purple colored glasses.

Exactly, and they cut quick. A team coming back on someone is what the NBA is about, it's entertainment after all. The issue is it can't be THAT easy. Brown was fairly revealing in that his biggest take away watching the Pistons put up nearly 40 points in the 4th was that the offense slowed down. Holy moly.

If you're going to quote a post of mine, at least try to even closely relate it to the subject of the post.

That's like saying sabonis is a better 3pt shooter than Luka. I don't get where the mod is going. He won't let it go lol
Where "the mod" is going is you and @PorchSurfin have simultaneously presented the conflicting positions that:
  1. Trae Young would be better for the Sacramento Kings than De'Aaron Fox, and
  2. The Kings should get the Hawks to give them Trae Young and a pick (your words) for Fox.
I am trying to reconcile those two statements.

Dude can’t lead unless he gets his feeling hurt on the court imagine how ****ing stupid that is

Reports I'm hearing say the team is largely on board with Mike Brown, but it's clear Fox has tuned Mike Brown out. Is he the only one or is there anyone else that appears to be ignoring Coach?
I have nothing.

But I thought Domas assumed the leadership mantle as soon as he got here and suddenly this year in his quest to get his precious super max Fox has taken on the Alpha role. I thought this was good when I first noticed it but the results are not there. I have no idea if there is any strain or anything else going on. I thought maybe DDR pushed Fox to be more excellent but now I am thinking it's just all about the contract.

Compounded by the fact that Fox is inefficient and doesn't make his team better, while at the same time advocating for this same team.

It's ironic Fox is represented by Klutch sports because he is acting the EXACT SAME AS LEBRON. Blaming everyone around him for the lack of success instead of taking ownership (sound familiar?).

Having his agent Rich Paul meet with the team to find out how they are going to make the team better for him after advocating to bring damn near the whole team in himself (Lebron and Klutch again).

Fox needs to go. He is swept up in the whole Rich Paul/Klutch Sports way of doing business, and the longer the Kings entertain it, the worst off we will be.

This team was made for DeAaron, and he is half assing crap yet expecting the team to do more (the Klutch Sports playbook). Ship his ass out and let someone else deal with him and Rich Paul.

Agree the death by thousands cut. It seems like every layer of the organization is at fault.

Monte assembled a guard heavy roster with no wings.
Keegan/ huerter shooting 30% from 3s
Brown not playing Ellis

All of these magnify the “little mistakes”. For example, if Keegan or huerter hit 1 more 3 tonight, that last play would have meant nothing.
