Hibbert+Cousins would make maybe the slowest front court in the league. We would have major troubles switching pick&rolls. And Cousins is pretty good as a defensive anchor. I see no need for Hibbert.
If we want to add a defender at C/Pf it should be a mobile player.

Your right, and his name should be Willie Cauley-Stein........... Or, if we get lucky, Karl Towns.
Just reading around, there are so many Kings' fans that want to trade our pick..even if it's in the top 3. This is really astonishing to me. Top 3 nets you a star.. 6th/7th pick nets you WCS.
Can anyone imagine what would happen if the Pelicans never traded two 1st round picks for Jrue Holiday? They'd be sitting in a front court of Noel/Davis along with a PG of MCW.
We're keeping our #1 pick and absolutely nothing would make me trade it. We're taking KAT and going home.. Right now, there's no one really on the trading block. Probably only Lawson, Faried, and maybe Holiday. None of them are worth the #1 pick.

I'm perfectly content on taking Cauley Stein and calling it a day as far as the draft goes...the Kings will not land in the top three anyways so the other needs they can fill will be in free agency. Cauley Stein is a junior so it's not as if we are throwing a rookie project big out there, I have confidence he would pick the game up fairly quickly as the season rolls along. That said, if we don't have an opportunity to draft him...then I'd look at a perimeter oriented defender next or another big.

There are a lot of bigs in this draft coming in various sizes and years of experience along with potential. So its sort of pick your poison. Some will be solid journeymen, and others might be stars, but will need time to get there. Some like Kaminsky are ready to step in and help right now, but likely never be stars. At the top you have Trey Lyles, Frank Kaminsky, Myles Turner, and I'll throw Kevin Looney in there for the Capt. Just kidding! I do like Looney, but he's one of those that going to need some time. Hopefully this is a moot point. Stein is there, we take him and go home.

Kaminsky would be a reach at 6 or 7.... Just like Stauskas was a reach at where he went last year. They easily could have traded down a bit and taken Stauskas but if someone scooped him up, then your backup pick could have been Rodney Hood, who they also liked iirc. If Kaminsky is their guy at that pick then for god's sake trade down and take him. I don't think we should take him but trade down and take best player available and you get another asset or 2.
