I was thinking the same thing. They've got two picks there and they've already taken two guys in the first round. They probably don't have roster space for two more rookies.

Side note: Thank you just doesn't seem enough to say to David Stern for all the incredible years AND for saving our Sacramento Kings. But it's all I can come up with...

Ditto. And I thought he was fantastic tonight. Very funny and in good spirits. His last draft was a crazy one, nice way to go out!

Wow, KG and Paul Pierce in Brooklyn with Joe Johnson, DWill and Coach Kidd. Glad this is going to happen. That's a good storyline for next year. Nice moment for the commish too. Seems like most of the players genuinely like him and vice versa. And you're right VF, he'll always have a place of honor in Sacramento for his role in keeping the Kings where they belong.

Don't know if that's exactly how it'll play out, but likely something close I'd say. Might depend on how training camp goes.

So what do you see as the strengths and weaknesses of a Reke/McClemore backcourt? And for that matter, if you're up for it, IT/McClemore?

On my side note here.. There was a HUGE bluejacket bug (about 2" long and about the thickness of two wasps -- shaped like a VERY large wasp) I HATE Wasps so of course this terrified me the F out and my poor kitten was trying to catch it but I didn't want to go near it to get her.

Got a big *** fly swatter and whacked it.

I love animals and wont hurt a fly usually unless it's a black widow or a wasp. I don't mind bees even though I am highly allergic.

It was hilarious when Silver got boo'd. I noticed that Stern was walking very slowly. It's something you notice when you get older. I was going to add "unfortunately" but then considering the alternatives ......

It must be disappointing to be picked 1st in the 2nd round as there are no guaranteed contracts. If only he was picked one slot earlier. Oh, well. No ka ching yet.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you absolutely kill it both years of your signed contract (or at least your 2nd), you can sign a huge contract for the 3rd year (a la what Gilbert Arenas and Marcus Thornton did). Could light a fire in some of these kids.

Two more to go. Looks like Withey or Mitchell will be there for us IF we want them. I wouldn't be surprised if we pass on them for Southerland, which would majorly annoy me. Wait and see time.
