It's early, but anybody have a draft wish list yet?

Beal never scheduled a workout outside of top-4. Barnes and T-Rob probably promised to come to Sacramento and Portland in but cancelled by now. There's still more than week left and I think MKG will blink: he can fall past Kings (do not want player they didn't work out) and Blazers (Batum is still in their plans). There's also possibility that Kings feel comfortable about MKG's game and personality so there's no need for a workout but that would've been the case if there was a threat of somebody trading up. Top-4 might just have been formed so it makes such a scenario much less likely.

Guys im not sure where else to ask this but.... im getting abit confused with whats happening where and all these threads and i was thinking of doing an "Offseason Tracker 2012" kind of thing.... it could go at the top of the page and just tell everyone what is going on where and when and leave all the threads for discussing everything.... I whould be quite happy to do it but only if your ok/want it :)

kind of like this one but less messy... http://saintsreport.com/forums/f2/new-orleans-saints-2012-offseason-tracker-222123/

If you want to do one and are willing to commit to keeping it up, I would sticky it for you to the top of the page.

1) Not sure. From memory it's about 1AM our time, but don't rely on me, I could be a few hours off here.
2) Again I can't really remember. I think teams have 5 minutes to make their selection in the first round, and 2 minutes in the second. The first round usually lasts about 2 hours altogether, maybe half hour more. Second round goes quicker.
3) Definitely!
4) Last two years it has been on ESPN America if you have that channel. I do, but I'm only assuming they have it again this year. Will have to double check. No other channels in the UK or Ireland will have it AFAIK. If it's on ESPN, just record it. Not sure if you'll be able to find a full replay the following day, it's possible but I don't know as I've never had to do it. The individual team selections will be put on youtube soon after, though. And you will find numerous resources online to keep you up to date with the various picks/trades that will inevitably take place. Actually, you can pretty much keep up to date on this forum, as everything that happens is posted here fairly quickly.

Here's a tip to anyone that doesn't already know - if you want to know who is going to be picked next a couple minutes early, follow Adrian Wojnarowski on twitter, he's the best connected media person and tweets the next pick about a minute before it is offically in.

1) 7 PM ET. Which means for you in England is 0.00, for me in Italy it's 1.00 AM
2) I could be wrong, but I think every team has 3 minutes to make the pick, so more or less 90/100 minutes per round
3) Of course!
4) I don't know, maybe somewhere on the internet. I have ESPN America too, but the Draft is not scheduled. If you want to see it live, you'll be able to find streaming channels, even if it's not on tv in your country.

Great tip by Dime Dropper. Last year I did the same thing, I was following AW and a couple of minutes before every selection he tweeted the exact pick. Sam Amick is great too (and I'm sure everyone here agrees with me), last year he was the only one having Tristan Thompson at 4 a couple days before the draft. If you follow those two guys on draft night, you'll have all the info as soon as they come out.

That was probably the TV delay. He was tweeting the picks as they happen.

1) 00.00/00.30 in England
2) A couple of hours per round
3) I'm going to be at the airport in London at that time
4) If you need it I can give you a link

I'm sure someone will have the correct answer but it moves along pretty good. A little space is left for trades so 3 minutes between picks seems short.

I wil bet money after the 5th pick you begin to get sleepy and don't get to the 36th. :)

i want to see really our picks and the lottery picks in all honestly....

Perry Jones...

Just want to chime in on him, in case anyone missed it, he is no longer a power forward. He is a small forward now, plain and simple, at least according to him. He was asked what kind of defender is he? Replied: I'm a better defender on the perimeter. Later, asked his opinion on being compared to Paul George; replied: I do compare favorably to him. Bottom line is that he sees himself on the wing, he's more comfortable on the wing (as noted many times in college), he doesn't like the physicality that comes with playing in the post.

http://www.nba.com/warriors/2012-draft-multimedia (click on PJ3 interview, around 7:00 mark).

Now, it's possible that PJ3 becomes an awesome SF. Parts of me wonder if the Warriors is eyeing Jones as their future SF. But if you're looking for a physical shot-blocking big man, look elsewhere.
