what was the last movie you watched?

10 Things I Hate About You -- was pleasantly surprised here. Guess I should have seen this years ago really, because it was quite funny, especially early, and likable even after it went more conventional. And an early vehicle for Julia Stiles, Heath Ledger and Gabrielle Union.
I'm temporarily revoking your man card.

Went and saw Couples Retreat last night with my wife. Pretty funny in spots, bit slow a couple times but not bad, she really liked it and I enjoyed it as well.

Also saw Law Abiding Citizen Friday night (not bad, somewhat predictable in spots, but pretty enjoyable) and took our little guy to Astroboy today - he loved it and I thought it was a pretty decent flick. Not as adult-oriented as some recent kid movies like most Pixar flicks, but still not bad at all for the adult taking a child to the movies.

Just watched that old sci-fi movie Lifeforce - ugh. Kinda like a bad Thriller video for the most part. Just say no. Had never seen it before and put it on my Blockbuster list on a lark.

I just watched 2012: Doomsday a couple days ago.

Holy crap, this has to be the worst movie that has been ever created.

This movie was done in a pathetic, lame, stupid, ignorant, and absolutely ridiculous way.

My eyes and ears started to bleed after the first 10 minutes of it, and i think I was halfway brain dead for the rest of it.

If you ever have the unfortunate option of watching this crap piece, save yourself a pound of blood and brain cells by refusing to watch it.

You have been warned

What?

You don't "just say no" to a nude Matilda May wandering around wihtout a stitch for an entire movie. :p

That and Captain Picard's atrocious overacting are enough for an evening's entertainment.

Um, an entire movie? More like 15 minutes and a few brief scenes after that. Nice and all, but still not worth it. And I had no idea Stewart was in it until the opening credits. A nice surprise, but he wasn't even in it much.

I've never seen this Lifeforce flick, but I see Tobe Hooper directed and Dan O'Bannon wrote it and now I'm curious.

I picked up Up and Monsters Inc the other day but haven't gotten to watch yet. Probably will watch one tomorrow and the other on Thursday.

Watched Up. Had the reaction everyone else does. Pixar is the devil for playing my emotions like that. I made it a double feature and watched Cars afterwards.

Also picked up the new Star Trek on blu-ray but will watch that with my wife.

I don't know if you've seen the new Star Trek or not, but it was pretty good.

And about Monsters Inc, that wasn't your first time seeing it, was it?

I will be going to see New Moon Thursday at midnight (Friday morning, whatever.) My wife was all "OMG! OMG! OMG!" When I bought enough tickets for us and her friends, and I was like: "They're not even real vampires or werewolves, calm down."

The teenage girl who sold me the tickets looked so disgusted after my remark, it made my night :D

I didn't watch Monsters Inc yet, so I still haven't seen it. I'm caught up past Nemo but need to see the Toy Stories and A Bug's Life (the latter TJ got for his birthday but we haven't watched) too.

I haven't seen Star Trek yet either, I prefer to watch most movies in my home theater unless its 3D.

Oh yeah, New Moon. Ehh.. Music was lousy, didn't learn anything new about the characters, and there was a bit too much male shirtless-ness for me. They are doing a poor job of conveying chemistry in the films, except for the Alice/Bella friendship and Bella/Edward romance.

If you skip this one, you'll miss nothing.

I got this with a $5 off Blu-Ray coupon at Target the other day. I had just completed my Terminator collection from Amazon black friday weekend deals so figured I better grab this too. Was it any good?

I like it. They always have something in there that makes you shake your head (the hydrobots are metal skeletons - how do they swim? Why do Terminators throw people around instead of just squeezing their heads like a honeydew melon? You know, stuff like that). But it is entertaining and fun to watch. And I like the big robots! :D

Ink: Indy, artsy, weird, and slow...I really liked it. It's not for everybody, though, and I don't think I'd ever recommend it to anyone. It's one of those movies that you have to invest yourself in to really enjoy. At no point does it pull you in, you actually have decide to care about it. Because of this, the plot felt like it would probably be more appropriate in a novel or novella, and not a full length film. Still, it's on the Netflix watch instantly feature. If you like slow indy art pieces it might be right up your ally.
