PLANET EARTH - 2006
A project that took 40 camera teams shooting at over 200 different locations all over the world for more than five years, Planet Earth is probably the greatest achievement in nature cinematography in history. It is simply incredible...my students beg me to show it, even when they've seen every episode several times. Sigourney Weaver was a great narrator, but being a science geek, I prefer Attenborough on the UK version. My personal favorite is the cave episode...but it's hard to pick just one. I love them all.
