So...I lied a little with my last pick. Well, not so much lied as misdirected. I really do think plam trees suck. Ridiculous little bushes pretending to be trees. And this constant I want to go someplace disgustingly hot and humid for vacation fetish is completelyludicrous. But that said, I got me one place like that too:

You've got one of the most famous coastlines in the world, the Pacific's deepest canyon, the wettest spot on the planet, waterfalls, jagged mountains used in 1 out of every 10 movies made, premiere surfing beaches if that's your thing, all wrapped up in one little 20mile x 20mile spot of the greenest land you are ever goign to encounter (hence its name "the Garden Isle"). Last time I was there I told my dad I was just going to buy the place. Haven't quite got there yet, but figure I'll just draft it instead.

I figure I'll have to eat at least semi-healthy on my island (or at least have the option to) so I'm gonna go with this, since I love it:

Sometimes it's nice to relax in the evening with a nice glass of single malt scotch. I usually prefer the Speyside and Highland offerings, but every once in a while it's also nice to have a good, smoky Islay for a change. My budget normally limits me to bottles aged 15 years or less, but here in fantasy land I'll start moving up to 21 and beyond. And despite the ice cubes in the picture below, I'll have mine neat -- no reason to lose that rich complexity to chilling and dilution.
I'm not interested in building a harem like some of you all seem to be. So, now that I have my home state secure, I'm going to add the quintessential California girl:

To be honest, I know next to nothing about this woman personally. What I do know is she's beautiful, a California native (Keep Santa Cruz weird folks), a surfer, an active representative of the Cancer Society and the Surfriders Association, able to avoid any scandalous stories about her from second hand celebrity gossip and she appeared in Sports Illustrated wearing merely a painted on Sacramento Kings jersey. Could have picked any team, went with mine.
And sometimes, that's all you need to know. Quality over quantity my friends

Just about any medium is fine, but I have to stay informed. I'm a bit of a news junkie, and I'll often find myself staying up most of the night to follow a news story on the other side of the globe. I just feel that to be a good global citizen, you need to keep yourself abreast of conditions throughout the world.

Sorry for the delay... in any event as I was writing a different pick and still agonizing just what kind of world/universe/fantasy island I was residing in it became obvious... my next pick would be Fantasy Island.
Why settle on one place when I can have a lush island paradise that has the ability to transform itself to any place I want to be? Yeah this is like rubbing the Genie's lamp and wishing for a million wishes on your first wish, so what? Not only do I get a location, I get Tattoo as my personal servant.
