Supervillain Draft Thread - Team write-ups and post draft rankings

Elizabeth Hurley as The Devil (Satan) in Bedazzled.
OK hold up.

One of the few specific rules we have are no entities from currently practiced religions and Satan most certianly is one. I understand you're drafting the "Bedazzled" version of Lucifer as played by Elizabeth Hurley, but it is still Satan.

I'm sorry, but I can't allow that one.

OK I was not sure if it would fly. But I thought since it was from a movie version it be ok. Since a Greek god was chosen from another medium.

Well, it's getting more and more difficult for people without broadband to follow the thread when the pictures keep getting bigger and bigger. Could I just request that people have pity on someone who will eventually be voting for their group and try and keep the pictures a reasonable size?

Pretty please?

Bwuhahahahaha!

I, in a sign of ultimate villiany, discovered a solution to the imagery problem that I can impose on all of you.

Bwuhahahahaha!

From now on, incredibly large pictures will be "hidden" behind spoiler tags.

Did I mention "Bwuhahahahaha!"?

Is really a shame too, because the theological fireworks would have been a hoot when I unveiled "God" as my incredibly offensive first round pick...as a supervillain. :p

Yes, Greek Gods are fine. No entites from widely CURRENTLY practiced relgions.
Ok sorry about that. I thought Paganism is a current practiced religion. No worries though I will pick another villian later and I did PM the next person so they can pick next so I do not hold up the draft finding another villian.

And that pretty much embodies why I went to great lengths to nip that powder keg in the bud.

Nothing to see here everyone, let's just move on.

I had PM'd the commish about the ole' prince of darkness when I was mulling over my first pick. Your picture, however, is much better than what I had in mind.

Hey, I wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating live mice. :D

ABC's working on a remake of V in which Diana will be played by Morena Baccarin from Firefly.

You know what would be better? If they just brought Firefly back and aplogized for screwing around...

With my pick I am taking probably the hottest woman in all of comics...

Emma Frost

Delicious... Oh yeah where were we?:D

Emma Frost has gone to the X-Men good guys (I have some inside info she is just going to backstab them;)), but she has very long been a super villainess.

Emma Frost is a mutant psion of enormous telepathic ability and is also capable of transforming into an organic diamond state with enhanced strength and durability which suppresses her telepathy.

Frost's abilities have been stated to rival that of Charles Xavier, and she has been ranked amongst the five most powerful known telepaths on the planet capable of extraordinary telepathic feats. Since her introduction, Frost has displayed the telepathic standards of broadcasting and receiving thoughts, mind-control, altering perceptions and memories, psionic blast projection, astral projection, mind switching, brain engram modification, mental sedation and induction of mental pain via touch. Frost is also very adept at performing 'psychic surgery': the utilization of pin-pointed psionic energy to exert absolute control over individual brain functions such that the physical form can be manipulated (i.e., injuries healed, disabilities repaired, the nervous system, etc), a sub-skill of telepathy unusual for even the most powerful of telepaths.

Frost can also transform herself into a perfectly smooth, flexible, translucent diamond state, becoming nigh-invulnerable and able to support incredible amounts of weight.

Frost has a genius intellect and is a superb businesswoman with college degrees in multiple fields and is able to make advanced weaponry.

Oh yeah and she's really hot.:p

I have plenty of Marvel knowledge, and she was "evil" for like an hour or two. I'd like the commish to make a judgement, and seeing as how she is MAINLY a good guy, is she still eligible in the Hero thread?

Hey I'm just going to write my other pick. Ill write it up when I get back..

Abomination is my pick

Also Emma Frost was White Queen of the Hellfire Club. Also many people think she will go back to being a baddy.

She was actually evil for a long time, but recently has been a hero and that's where I wanted to pick her too. Unforunately, the rule was that the same character can only be in one draft or the other.

She was only evil through the uncanny xmen series. through Generation X, sh's been a good guy, and Generation X is a widely familiar series. I don't mean to argue, but I was considering her for the hero thread now that Samus had been taken :p
