Charlotte looked good tonight with GW back in the mix. And I think we got lucky tonight with 3 Pacers starters being hospitalized with the flu against the Clips (unlucky for me since I have Granger on my fantasy roster)

GSW fall behind, leaving us in uncontested 4th.

Our grip on 4th place is solidifying! And our point differential has now easily passed up OKC for the worst in the NBA, -9.8 points. :-/

1. OKC 3-28 .097
2. Min 5-24 .172
3. Was 5-23 .179
4. Sac 7-24 .226
5. LAC 8-21 .276
6. GSW 9-23 .281
7./8. Mem/Ind 10-20 .333
9. Cha 11-20 .355
10. NY 11-18 .379

Forecast through Jan. 6: OKC's doesn't matter, they will stay #1. Minnesota has a very easy schedule, Washington has a hard one, the other bottom dwellers have schedules that are in between. Pivotal for us will be the visit of the LAC on the 30th, a lin there will make a huge difference. After that, we have 4 road games, and are quite capable of losing all of them. With some luck, we will not only get some distance between us and the #5 team, but Minnesota might slip into 3rd, and get close to letting us take 3rd for them. Keep your fingers crossed.

Let's not give up on OKC. After a terrible start, they have been playing much better. We actually have a worse point differential than them right now. There's a good chance we play better too and they finish with a worse record (or are we calling it a better record here, we need some kind of terminology :D ). However, don't write them off.

I think with the roster the Kings have, assuming they get healthy, there is little to no chance of having one of the worst 5 records in the league. If they traded Miller and/or Salmons for kids or expirings then I might change my opinion.

Well we lost and the Twolves won, so that's a good thing, even if it was against the Warriors. The Thunder looked good against the Nuggets...until they realized they were the Thunder and blew a double digit lead half-time lead. They look to be running away with the worst record right now.

And of course the Wizards lost to the C's

The Bobcats, Clips and Wizards have got to pick up the pace. With the talent the Clips have on their team, if they don't have a better season ending record than the Kings, then they are the biggest disgrace in the league. The Bobs should definitely start picking up the pace, and even the Wizards should be better after their trade. If Petrie deals Salmons and/or Miller for youth and picks he will absolutely seal the deal for a top 5 pick. If not, it wouldn't surprise me if we end up closer to 10, and in this draft that could HUGE.

The race for 3-4-5 narrows, due to our woss versus the Clips. Without that, we'd be in 3rd right now with 5th trailing badly.

1. OKC 4-30 .118
2. Was 6-25 .194
3. Min 7-25 .219
4. Sac 8-25 .242
5. LAC 8-24 .250
6. GSW 10-25 .286
7. Mem 10-23 .303
8. Cha 11-22 .333
9. Ind 11-21 .344
10. NY 12-19 .387

I saw the ending of the clipps kings game and to me it looked like both teams were trying to give the game away until camby I believe fouled miller and accident and gave him to free throws to "seal" the game hahahahah

And whoop, we actually got passed by Minnesota and into the #3 spot. Now that one I did not see coming. Thought Washngton might revive, but assumed the Wolves and Thunder were completely uncatchable.

Well, as I mentioned earlier, Minnesota has a brutally easy schedule this week. So, on to the good news, as it stands at 1:40 PM on Sunday.

1. OKC 4-30 .118
2. Was 7-25 .219
3. Sac 8-26 .235
4. Min 8-25 .242
5. LAC 8-24 .250
6. GSW 10-25 .286
7. Mem 10-23 .303
8. Cha 12-22 .353
9. Ind 12-21 .364
10. NY 12-19 .387

With one minute left in the half, the Clips lead the Pistons by 4, so the news could get even better. GO CLIPPERS!

It was a good night for Kings draft prospects. Remember to keep cheering for Washington and the Clippers.

1. OKC 5-30 .143
2. Was 7-26 .212
3. Sac 8-28 .222
4. LAC 8-26 .235
5. Min 9-25 .265
6. GSW 10-26 .278
7. Mem 11-24 .314
8. Ind 12-22 .353
9. Cha 13-22 .371

On track for a franchise-worst 18-win season, but also for our highest draft pick since we acquired Mitch Richmond.

No real need. The Clippers are playing way, way below their talent level. They'll win games as the season progresses. Same thing with the Wiz. If Arenas makes it back this year, they'll win at a greater than 30% clip the rest of the season. Sorry to say, but I don't see the Kings getting much better this season.

Actually, I'm not sorry to say it. This team needs a superstar in the draft.

Yeah, I actually think we are too, but I do think there's a good chance we finish with the worst record. OKC is better than their record and has been actually playing well recently. Washington will get better if Arenas comes back. Clippers will be better again when Randolph, BD and Kaman all come back in the next two weeks. And the Wolves are also playing better. We can guarentee ourselves a top 4 pick here.
