OK... Rating the top ten players in the draft...
This is IF they are all coming out..
I am listing Bayless, and Blake Griffin. There is a chance both are coming out.
1. Beasley
2. Rose
3. Lopez
These are pretty much your top three no matter who is 1/2/3. Lopez, and Rose might flip flop depending on if Memphis gets the #2. Or they might trade the pick. Who knows..
4-15 are in no particular order. Listed as I am thinking of the top players in this years draft. So even at 12 we will get a quality player. No worries
4. OJ Mayo
5. Blake Griffin
6. Jerryd Bayless
7. Eric Gordon
8. Danillo Gallinari
9. Nicolas Batum
10. Kevin Love
12. DJ Augustin
13. DeAndre Jordan
14. Darren Collison
15. Russell Westbrook
Here's another name - PF Richard Hendrix of Alabama. His overall stats in the SEC are pretty sensational. Also, said to be smart, team player, highly dedicated. Some see him as another possible Carlos Boozer in the making. I very seriously doubt he goes #5 like Sheldon Williams but, he could go in the top 20 - assuming he comes out as this article speculates from USA Today.
Alabama forward Richard Hendrix will enter NBA draft
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Alabama forward Richard Hendrix has decided to enter the NBA draft, but is leaving the door open to return for his senior season. Hendrix said he doesn't plan to hire an agent, giving him until 10 days before the June 26 draft to withdraw his name.
"After the season, I had to come to a decision to make with my family and the coaches," the 6-foot-9 All-Southeastern Conference player said. "I want to put my name in the 2008 NBA draft. I also came to the decision that as of right now, I do not plan to sign with an agent. I'm going into this procedure with the highest hopes and the best of expectations."
Hendrix's averages of 17.8 points and 10.1 rebounds a game this season led the Crimson Tide. He ranked among the SEC's top five in scoring, rebounding, field goal percentage and blocked shots.
Alabama coach Mark Gottfried said Hendrix and his family have been careful to evaluate their options.
"I think Richard wants to go after this full speed ahead, and I support him on that," Gottfried said. "I think that if you're going to do it, that's where your minds should be. At the same time as you watch, they're going to be very cautious of what's being said and what he hears, and he's going to make a great decision."
Hendrix is on track to graduate in May after just three years with a degree in communications, quicker than any player in program history. Teammate and roommate Greg Cage is also scheduled to graduate in three years.
Hendrix's numbers dipped late in the season. He averaged 13.1 points and 8.75 rebounds while shooting 48.9% over the last eight regular-season games.
Hendrix is the latest Tide underclassman to enter the draft during Gottfried's tenure, including players like Gerald Wallace, Mo Williams, Kennedy Winston and Rod Grizzard.
