Now that we know we are guaranteed a top 4 pick, what is your top 4 on your draft board for the Kings? This years draft is hard, but so far here is mines. (I'm sure it's going to change as I do more research)

1. Blake Griffin
2. Ricky Rubio
3. Greg Monroe
4. Brandon Jennings

1. Griffin
2. Rubio
3. Thabeet
4. Jennings

But I say that like many having seen little more than mixtapes of Rubio/Jennings so who knows. I also want to see measurements on Griffin and if he measures out short would be considering trading down for one of the other guys.

1. Griffin
2. Rubio
3. Harden
4. Monroe

Let me state this now: "Hasheem Thabeet is a BUST"

The guy is Dikembe Mutombo v.1.5. I don't believe he'll be effective in the NBA. Blair owns him btw.

A newer version of Mutombo a bust?

Mutombo was a 10/12/3 player for over a decade.

Thabeet
Jennings/Rubio

1. Rubio

3. Thabeet
4. Jennings

I'm very much ready to move Jennings above Thabeet if we get good news from his workouts but at this point I'll have to stick with Thabeet even though I really don't think that highly of him.

FYI: I'm assuming Monroe isn't declaring.

I'll be pissed if we don't get Griffin or Rubio. I keep getting flash backs of the 07 lotto of all the pissed off Cs fans!

Well the Kings have 3 picks, so I assume this is the order for their 1st pick eh? Kings really need a PG and a backup PF/C (and can get those either through the draft or free agency).

1. Blake Griffin (Best player available and a terror on the boards)
2. Ricky Rubio/Haheem Thabeet (Tie) (Rubio is a great PG to be, but I think we can get a starting PG with the Houston pick. Meanwhile, Thabeet could be the Kings defensive anchor for a decade, and no, I don't care about his offensive deficiencies. The Kings need play makers, and a semblance of defense.)
3. Brandon Jennings (Could be a home run PG with his playmaking ability, and should be worth the risk)
4. BJ Mullens (You can't teach height, and he has the body and the ceiling to be a force in the league some day)

interesting that none of us like Jordan Hill too much.. he's projected to go 2 or 3 and ahead of Thabeet, Jennings, and Harden on most sites.

on an interesting note Jordan Hill and I have the exact same bday(year too)

If Dikembe Mutombo was a college senior entering this draft, knowing what we know now, he would without question be the number one pick. While never a great offensive player, he was servicable in his prime. Defensively, he altered games like few players over the last 20 years.

My list:

1. Griffin
2. Rubio
3. Thabeet
4. Evans/Jennings (landing with the 4th pick in this draft would be a big blow, in my opinion.)

Chargers! Did you see the game last night? Reminded me of the Broncos Game, but there was more on the line for that game.

I saw the highlights of it. Nah the Broncos game was much worse and almost cost us the season. And even caused the NFL to make rule changes
