1. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one.

2. I belong, in the service of a queen, and I belong, anywhere but in between

3. You land as lightly as the new snow, cinematic

4. So here, I am, I'm trying. So here, I am, are you ready?

5. Nobody said it was easy. Its such a shame for us to part.

Bonus points to anyone who guess the song/band.
I'm a little late on this but here goes:

1. John Lennon - Imagine
2. Counting Crows - Rain King (I like the version on Across A Wire)
3. AFI - The Celluloid Dream
4. Blink 182? I think that's right but I don't know the song. Not one of my favorite bands.
5. Coldplay - The Scientist

Sanity Annex, I knew I liked you. I met a friend and his wife for lunch at the Sierra Nevada brewery a couple weekends ago after a family reunion. Good stuff. Arrogant Bastard is one of my favorites too. Stone (the brewery that makes it) also makes a great Smoked Porter, which is another favorite.

In that vein, here are my five favorite beers:

5. Stone Brewing - Double Bastard
4. Sierra Nevada - Bigfoot
3. Unibroue - La Fin du Monde/Chimay - White
2. Anchor - Steam
1. North Coast - Old Rasputin

Honorable mention: Guinness, Alaskan Smoked Porter, Red Seal, Newcastle and Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout

My five favorite science myths that people continue to believe:

5. That raindrops are shaped like teardrops.

4. Ben Franklin's kite was struck by lightning. (Newton being hit by an apple falls under the same category.)

3. A penny dropped from the Empire State Building could kill someone

2. Humans only use 10% of their brain

1. Water spirals the opposite way down bathtubs, sinks and toilets in the southern hemisphere.

There are plenty more, but this are the first ones that popped into my head. This doesn't count all the bad movie physics like sounds in space, people outrunning fireballs, bullets making sparks, exploding cars and people being knocked off their feet by bullets.

I was lucky enough to have grown up near the stone brewery (san marcos) and went to school next to the sierra nevada brewery (chico)

I bet you like the lost coast beers too. Have you tried the Stone "ruination" yet?

The sam smith sampler pack at trader joe's is one of my favorites:four beers, two coasters, and two pint glasses.....can't beat that.

Yep. And Lagunitas, and Anderson Valley, and Pyramid . . .
Lost Coast's Downtown Brown is probably my favorite of their offerings.

I was going to create another top five but I had trouble filling it out. Maybe we can make it a collaborative list.

Minor movie characters who I'd like to see in their own movie or TV show:

1. The Wolf from Pulp Fiction

I thought about Barry from High Fidelity or The Jesus from The Big Lebowski, but I'm not sure I want to watch either of them for two hours.

On that note, another list of minor character who should NOT have been given their own movie would start like this:

1. Jay and Silent Bob
2. Electra

5 Fave Excuses I Give Myself to Justify Procrastination:

1. "If I go to sleep now, I'll be more refreshed and will be able to do it in the morning."
2. "It would be better to before I ."
3. "It would be pointless to do the dishes when I'm about to eat and dirty more."
4. "I'm not all the way out of food yet."
5. "One piddly little hour is hardly enough time to get to the car wash."

I told a coworker that I own a Dolly Parton cd and have been roundly mocked ever since. I should probably be embarrassed by that, but I'm not. And after all it only makes up 0.06% of my cd collection.

Top Five Injuries I've suffered in my lifetime:

1. Partially torn ACL (from backyard basketball)
2. Rusty nail through my right foot (tearing apart old furniture on the job)
3. Concussion (reportedly from wrestling, but no one was sober so who knows?)
4. Badly sprained ankle (run over by a car)
5. Some pretty nasty bruises on my back (slipped down some stairs)

The last one is particularly embarassing. It happened on those metal stairs leading up from the parking lot at the Downtown mall. It was raining and so they were wet. On my way up I heard a woman slip and fall and walked up to help her to her feet. I told myself to be careful when I went back to my car. Apparently I forgot.
