Well the guys on the bench are still mostly trash but they're trash that want to play and caught the Wolves off guard. Maybe the starters will start feeling more inspired when they're losing minutes.

Kings shooting terribly. If a team isn't going to play defense with high energy or rebound terribly well, they need to put points on the board. 54 through 36 minutes isn't going to get it done.

I really wouldn't be surprised to see Adelman slowly bring in the rest of the starters and the Kings will lose going away even though this team on the floor is bringing some life.

I was just about to question whether Adelman had thrown in the towel with this lineup, but then they make a bit of a run to the deficit down to 9.

Is Garnett sick or something? This should have been a blowout. Well, I guess it kind of is (proportionally) considering the low scores... Wally and Hudson having their way. We play the "hope they miss" kind of defense.

I'm pretty happy with Adelman benching the starters down the stretch in this game so far. At this point, one more loss for this team isn't going to hurt much, but hopefully the starters will feel a bit of the sting sitting for the entire 4th quarter when the game was, at times, within reach. Kudos, Rick. Wish he'd have done that a few times years ago.
