Who's your favorite Kings player of all time?

CORLI$$ WILLIAMSON. I loved how in the glory days if he were to hit a shot towards the end of the games Arco would be louder than any other part of the game.
 
He wasn't the best player we've ever had and not even close really but my favorite to watch was Doug Cristie. The way he handled the ball coming down court was so fluid and the defense he brought every game was a thing of beauty to watch.

Plus anyone who kicks a Laker bully's *** (Rick Fox) on the court is okay with me.

This is my answer exactly. That shot to Rick *%&#%$@ Fox is honestly one of my favorite memories of those days. If that makes me a bad person, I'll own it. :)
 
I always loved Richmond, JWill, DC, and Webber...but when I was growing up my favorite King was Michael "The Animal" Smith. I guess he was the Kings' version of Dennis Rodman w/o the dresses, makeup and hall-of-fame acumen.
 
I really have to put it into categories:

Favorite original Sacramento king: Either Otis Thorpe or Reggie Theus
Favorite late 80's/early 90's King: Spud Webb
Favorite mid 90's King: Mitch Richmond & Michael "the Animal" Smith
Favorite glory years King: Bobby Jackson with Jon Barry & Lawrence Funderburke as my favorites of the Bench Mob
Favorite post glory years King: Probably Tyreke

Favorite King that I hated having to root for: Danny Ainge
Favorite bass playing King: Wayman Tisdale (RIP)
Favorite King for financial advice: Jim Les
Favorite pregame dunking King: Bill Wennington
Favorite King who later became a ref: Leon Wood
Favorite King nickname: Pete "Chili" Chilcutt
Favorite Kings injury: Lionel Simmons (Nintendonitis)

And although he didn't have it when he came to the Kings, favorite hairstyle goes to Dwayne Schintzus (RIP):

my favorite king of all time has been and always will be chris webber. without him, the glory years don't ever get off the ground, and sacramento never gets put on the map as an nba city. since the team first arrived in sacramento 28 years ago, he's the only legitimate superstar the kings have ever had. demarcus cousins may someday get there, but until then, c-webb's is the most important jersey in the rafters...

if "monta elli' have it all," then chris webber had it all and then some. he was the best. he really was. and think about just how great that era was for the power forward position. karl malone was exiting his prime, but guys like tim duncan and kevin garnett were just entering into theirs. they were superior defenders, but webber was so much more versatile, so much more explosive from just about anywhere on the court. few PF's have ever been so deadly in the triple threat...

you're almost tempted to forget just how spectacular webber was, then you catch some old highlights, and it hits you: the sacramento kings may never acquire another player like him, and they're guaranteed to stay in this town for at least another 35 years!! that's how special he was...
 
Mitch just because that was my favorite player for years when I was a kid growing up. Memories from when you are a kid really stick with you forever. Even though we sucked he was our lone bright spot for a long time.

I think I want to amend my post.

Peja will always be my #1, Mitch Rich got me really into the Kings to begin with (Especially after his All-Star MVP) and of course Webber, Bibby, Christie... All of the golden age players.

But I think DMC deserves to be put in there as well. I just love the kid, I really do.
 
For me it was Bonzi Wells. Can't really say he was better than most of the guys mentioned, but I just loved his attitude. And watching him play like an absolute superstar against the spurs in the playoff was one of the best performances I have ever seen from a player on a team i rooted for.
 
Doug Christie was my favorite. Total team guy and multi-talented in ways that most NBA fans probably never realized only seeing him play every once in awhile. But Mitch Richmond and Jason Williams are 2a and 2b. Oh and I also really liked watching Bonzi (always was a fan of his even before he came here) and Ron Artest (same). That team we put together for what ended up being Adelman's last year with Ron Artest and Bonzi Wells playing together was a monster in the playoffs. It's a shame that era of Kings basketball ended before it ever really got started.
 
My vote goes to Mitch Richmond. I was at ARCO for his first game as a King. Back then we were a doormat for the rest of the NBA but Richmond dragged us up from the cellar to make the playoffs in 1996. He was the All Star game MVP in the 95/96 season. He played 7 years for Sacramento and hit for a 22 PPG.

In the Sacramento era, Chris Webber and Bobby Jackson, but my favorite King all-time is Nate "Tiny" Archibald. Led the NBA in scoring and assists in the same season. Looked like a kid playing against adults at times; was incredibly fun to watch.
 
It would be hard for me to pick one favorite. On the team that came from Kansas City, my favorite was Mike Woodson. Futher down the road, despite the Tizzy rules, it was hard not to love Tisdale. I met the man several times, and he was one of the sweetest, nicest men I've ever met. I loved J Will the player, but had some problems with J Will the man. You think Cousins has problems, I could tell you some stories about J. Will. But aside from that, he comes the closest to being the second coming of Pete Marivich. I have to mention Ricky Berry. A special player that decided life was too hard to live. Broke my heart!

If I had to pick the best player to ever put on a sacramento Kings uniform, it would have to be Chris Webber. It took him a while to find himself, and I do think being surrounded by Vlade, Peja, and company, brought out the very best he had. I have to throw some props to Brian Grant, who helped put the Kings on the map before the Vlade, Webber era. But my all time favorite player has to be the Rock. He wasn't perfect, but for a brief period of time, he was one of the best in the entire NBA, and he was ours. His name was mentioned in the same breath as Michael Jordans. Even Michael mentioned him. Somehow, I always felt that Sacramento's cowtown image ended with Mitch's arrival.
