TDOS, but...
K-Mart v Wallace
I can't get over my sense that Wallace is one of those players (a la Shareef back in the day) who puts up great stats, but does not really contribute to a team winning. Kmart excels at scoring and needs to improve his D, but certainly carried us for stretches last year.
Cisco v
Jackson
Jackson was older when he broke out than Cisco is now, so this isn't really a fair comarison, but for now I will take the proven winner over someone still finding himself.
Vlade v Miller
If this needs an explanation, you're either not a Kings fan or a kid who's not old enought to remember 2002.
Peja v Hedo
This is a hard one, because in 2002, I always felt our team was stronger with Hedo in against the Lakers (mostly because we had scorers and Hedo was a better defender). However, Peja in his prime was a true star who carried us for whole chunks of the season and I don't think Hedo could ever do that for a team.
Pollard v Thomas
(see Vlade v Brad)
Fundy v SAR
Wash, I loved Fundy, but SAR helping us in the crazy Artest 1/2 season, where we made the playoffs was on par with what Fundy contributed. And both ended up as good 12th men who had good attitudes and never played.
Christie v Artest
I'll take Christie for sanity purposes, but this one really depends on team needs. If I have a team like the Rockets who need a gamble to get to contender status, I'd rather have Artest since he has higher upside. However, if I have a team with a lot of fire power and chemistry like our 2002 Kings, I'd rather have Christie to complement the stars.
Bibby v JWill
JWill brought excitment back to Sacramento, but Bibby made up contenders. And he was/is by far the better basketball player.
