I get a lot of interesting stuff in my email.

A little while ago, I received a promo from some site trying to get me to come to their site and place a bet on which NBA player will be the first to be fined for violating the new dress code.

I don't gamble real money - and I certainly don't advise that anyone else do it. So, instead of gambling about it, let's have a poll!!!

The names I've listed are the ones the email said are currently the favorites in the betting...

AI is the odds on favorite, to be sure. But of the people listed, there is at least one person I don't think could wear business casual if his life depended on - besides Iverson.

I see Bibby or Rasheed Wallace as more of a potential offenders than Wade.

I've never seen Bibby wear anything else besides a baggy white T-shirt with jeans or shorts.

they need to be injured or sitting out to qualify, very important to take in to account. so i go with jwill, or some random kid who goes down and doesnt dress right.

Wade's out, he usually dresses fairly well. I read an article where Marbury was buying suits for his teammates so I would assume he's getting one for himself. J-Will OK if they let them dress like pimps in red suits. Even though AI said he was going to conform I'll believe it when I see it. He's the most likely to violate it first even though reports have Duncan opposed to it and saying he won't conform either but he's not on the list. Interesting that they listed Artest but if he'[s really trying to improve his image he'll look nice. I know Bibby is also very against it but he's not listed either.

Interesting players thet they have on the list.
Along with loopy's comments...Kobe has already said that he's in favor of it, so I don't get why he's on there. (Not directed at VF as she got the list from somewhere else.)

I voted for AI...though after Duncans' comment..???

I actually checked out the site from the link - and immediately did a spyware cleansing afterwards. I think some of those names are on there simply because the site is putting out names people might recognize.

There's a snippet in the Bee this morning. They have a different site mentioned but some of the same names.

i think amare will be the first since he is the only big name that i could think of that will be on the bench..... but i voted for iverson.... i cant wait to see what happens...

That's not exactly true, since the dress code applies to any time the players are representing the NBA. It would also mean, I'm pretty sure, press conferences after games, etc.

Peja does have that one pink shirt he wears that I think should be subject to fines simply because it makes my eyes bleed.

As far as I know...there has been no objection to earrings, or bracelets. I think the big medallions on chains over their shirts was what the league objected to. Guess we'll see what happens.

I voted for Iverson. He dislike the dres code, so I am picking him! Plus, he gets fined for stupid things sometimes.

You should put Cuttino on there as well!! Lol!

Marbury shouldn't be a problem. He gave his whole team some suits for the dress code which he said in an interview. Pretty nice of him........

I think AI is gonna surprise a lot of people...

I actually don't think anybody well out right ignore the rule...somebody may get fined for some infractions....but nobody is just gonna completely ignore the rule and come to the games in a throwback, fitted cap, jeans, tim's and a bunch of chains around their neck...

But I must say I seriously CANNOT WAIT to see what everyone is wearing...its gonna be like the Emmy's or the Oscar's...well....for me anyway

OMG, last night I saw Mark Cuban in a bright a@@ BLAZER. LOL No wonder I didn't recognize him.

If Mark could dress up, hopefully AI, Bibby, Duncan, Dirk and etc could too.
