That might be a legitimate concern if Stojakovic hasn't proven throughout his career that he can be shut down by smaller defenders... If Martin gets up in his jersey and stays there, it's not inconceivable that he could be a non-factor for the entire game.BawLa said:The main problem is that Peja is 6' 10" which would be a mismatch against Kevin/Bonzi...

I'm not overly concerned about Jackson, either; he's not somebody that Wells can't defend, so if Adelman's worried about Martin being able to defend Jackson, and wants to keep Artest on Stojakovic, then he'll probably just play Wells more.

Big pre seasons games... ralry a good post season one. 1 rember 1 time in 2004 when he hit some big shots vs minesota... but he missed the and 1 free throw... so he takes himself out of the game. i wanna see ron own... and ithink i will get my wish
SacKings4Life21 said:ok ok ok ok... Mike bibby could shut down peja... Peja shuts himself down. If he isnt open... hes most likly going to miss... Jackson is our concern. but i wanna see ron rip pejas groin into 2 peices... so i want ron on him. Just to say "ahahhahahaa this my team now B****"

This website has never been about taking potshots at players like Peja. Show some respect for what he DID for us and the franchise, please.
There is absolutely NO NEED in my humble opinion to dump on him for a game in 2004 when ... blah, blah, blah. We had the thrills of our lives when he was a big part of those championship-caliber teams. There is no reason now to decide he was never any good.
Times change, things change, people change. Peja is happy in Indiana, apparently, and Ron is happy here. It could well be that this trade is talked about for a long time as the ONE standout trade that actually made both teams better.

Also have to remember Garcia can and has played the point a bunch too.

foretaz said:actually the best defense for jackson is have the ref make a questionable call or 2....he will then be focused on bitching at the ref versus actually playing the game....
