Where Does Sar Sit/fit In Artest Trade Talks?

All I ever here is KT in Artest trade talks but SAR makes nearly as much ($6.2M and $6.7M) and still has 2 more years on his contract. IMHO he is a far better contributor (when healthy) than KT both in rebounding and scoring down low. Would think his trade value higher than KT based on this but no mention anywhere about him.

Is he 100%? Is he better to hang onto than KT?

Plus....if a player can't play in a certain # of games in a season because of injury(Not sure of the exact amount) then insurance picks up 80%(I think) of his salary for that season. So, it's better to eat his contract rather than KT's

Plus, SAR has a great attitude... unlike K9, SAR is happy to make whatever contributions off the bench. Is he overpaid? Sure, but he will likely get more PT and have more value than K9.

SAR and KT expire at the same time, I would prefer to keep them both on the team untill their respective contracts are up. Artest should be traded alone.

Yeah, I think that's right. SAR played in only 6 games last year and was "unable to play" due to medical. But still wonder how healed he is and if he can play. Cause if he's 90% then we have something IF he can get to 100%. But don't want another CWebb situation for sure. But we just hear zero, nada, zip about him. hmmmmmmmmmmmm?

Reef is done. Obviously he was an all-star talent, but he hasn't played in what seems like eons, and his knees are buckling. In a confused sort of logic, I think Kenny Thomas may actually contribute more than Reef--the fact that he's not injured and the fact that he may still perceived as a rebounding/mobile defensive presence may make him an able contributor if only he was more willing to plant a smiley face upon his pee poor attitude. Not sure if anyone would take on Reef anymore--we probably just have to let it expire. Thomas we can force feed onto Ron.

I would like to see some reports on how he is coming along. Is he back in shape? Is he running? Is he working out? Or is he still rehabing and maybe thinking about retirement? SAR if your out there drop us a few lines.

SAR has no value at all until he proves he is healthy. He can't do that until the regular season rolls around. So while he could be a throw in anywhere, nobody is going to want him unless they are just hoping he will retire, and save them the money. Not as if he was worth much even before the lost season. A one dimesnional ball hogging 9ppg scorer who does not rebound, score, or defend and is coming off a lost season with a series of knee surgeries anybody? Anybody?? Please???

I believe SAR fits in as the question to this Jeopardy answer:

Which Sacramento King currently on the roster came to the organization as damaged goods, made his greatest strides on the court when his mouth was wired shut and was unable to complain to the referees, and has left the squad virtually impotent with yet another "flexible" piece that can't be moved. His platooning on the bench at the "powerless" forward position thus leaving the franchise barely afloat in its current city and unwatchable even in HD.

The question is .... Who is SAR?
