It has a soothing sound to it but unofficially we can call it whatever we wish. I have yet to call that building out in Natomas anything but ARCO Arena. The new one can be KJ Arena in my mind. More realistically, it seems this is an opportunity for a big company to slap its name on a new arena expecially if the team begins to win in the mean time. The signage rate must depend a bit on the team's record as the better the team, the more often the arena name gets mentioned in the media.
I suppose we could have a poll but Comcast Arena has been brought up several times.

The nice part I think is that the City and AEG will probably be heading up the search for the arena title sponsor. So the Maloofs won't be tempted to call it the Enzyte Arena.
On a cool note, Turner Construction is the desired building contractor for this project. They have a local office and just finished the spectacular Terminal B out at the airport. A 1.08 billion dollar project that they came in 65 million under budget and four months ahead of schedule. A downtown arena would be one of their medium sized deals.

I'd rather Comcast renegotiate the TV contract for the team up to the league average, like they said they'd be willing to discuss, if the Kings stayed.
The Maloofs won't own the arena, so no fear of them selecting another crappy sponsor (PBP).
I'm quite sure AMTRAK is too broke, but I think AMTRAK Arena would be kind of nice in the railyards.

The dude deserves much more than that. He has been exceptional in first getting the Kings to stay put for another season when they already had 9 toes out the door and them scoring a mother of all home runs in coming up with an Arena plan within 10 months. That truly is an amazing achievement.
