G-League
Hey all...kinda disappointing with our boys play lately...however I purchased tickets for my 9 yr old son and myself for Sunday's game against the Magic. We're making the trek from Long Beach, CA...was wondering if anyone can tell me if it's possible to get autograph's if you arrive early or stay late? Put it this way...my lil man named his hampster "Mike Bibby" LOL....so...any recommendations would be fantastic! Along with some inspired play...thanks in advance for any help.

little early in the day - be patient - the "cavalry" will be there

I understand if you do show up early (not sure how much, as I always get there "just in time for the game" for the few games I do get to attend) you can get autographs of some of the players. I think doors open like 1 to 1.5 hours early. Others here probably know more....

I've never seen them sign autographs, but I usually only get there about 1/2 hour early. I like to get my food, get situated, and be seated and ready to watch the team warm ups. Have a great time at the game!

You might be able to get some autographs if u arrive early enough, down at the court. But it will be less likely of getting one from mike, peja or brad- they'll be mobbed or might not even come by to sign autographs. But you never know... you and your son might get lucky!!

Get there when the doors open at ARCO. As a kid I would get to ARCO right when the doors would open and go hang out down by the tunnel where the players come in and out of. I would get tons of autographs. Now, that was quite some time ago, but I'm sure it's still the same. Good luck and have fun.

I am pretty much the biggest autograph hound in the world. Kings are my main targets.

I will have to say though, theres about... a 1% chance you'll get anyone besides some bench players by going early. I always go early and just go to the other team to get autographs.

As long as you somewhat hang around and pretty much ask them when they come by, the kings usually do sign.

If you want a Bibby autograph, I suggest picking up a authenticated basketball card off ebay, you can pick one fairly cheap at maybe 5-10 dollars.

If you need any other pointers just PM me :)

I remember when my dad took me to my first Kings game, and it was a blast! I hope you guys have just as much fun.

Went to home opener, was there when they opened the doors, was able to get Bonzi to sign one for me,but he was the only starter on the floor at the time,we were in our seats by the time the others came out for the shootaround.Going to the game is a lot of fun, esp. if we win, your son win have a blast,an autograph from Bibby would be awesome, good luck.

I bought a ticket way back in Nov or Dec for the game this Friday night - a GOOD one. But then the Hornets went and moved the game BACK to Oklahoma. Even though we are not doing very well right now - I AM MAD!!! Good luck bperiod. I hope y'all have a great time.

Wow!!

Better than anything we could have expected.....Mike goes for a career high, the Kings win, my son gets to go down on the court afterward to shoot a freethrow...swishes it....then on top of all that...we go wait outside the players exit...my son gets Jamal Sampson, Ronnie Price, Francisco Garcia.......AND MIKE BIBBY'S AUTOGRAPH!!!!! :D I don't think I'll ever be able to top this X-mas present. Thanks to all for advice and response to this message....GO KINGS...hopefully we get some players back and can make some kind of decent run...but if not...I'm ridin our Kings till the wheels fall off!!!

That's wonderful!

I don't know how to break this to you, but your son is now considered a lucky charm. You need to move to Sacramento, get season tickets and have him attend every game!!!!

;)

Believe or not...I was actually thinking the same thing, LOL! I've never experienced anything like this in all the games I've attended in any sport...so my lil man definitley is working with some mojo...;)

yea your lucky, the games that I've been to was not a good experience. Loss at Goldenstate and Loss at home before Christmas against the Mavs. :(

yeah, me too. my first NBA game i watched here in the bay area, Warriors against the Kings. Kings lost. Anyway, was still happy to see the Kings and Peja.

Wow, that's fantastic! Thanks for sharing the experience. It's things like this that bond us fans together - winning season or not! What a great experience for you and your son!

That is great for you and your son, I bet he was thrilled, he must now attend every game.;) Any tips you want to pass on to the rest of us?

That is awesome that you and your son had such a great time and that he got autographs from the players. I hope that you guys have a great time at every game you go to.

If you have it on your computer, upload it to a site like www.photobucket.com (you have to register, but it's free and a LOT of us use it). Once you've done that, you can post the image here (and photobucket even resizes the picture for you!).

Congratulations to you and your son!! Unfortunately for me I'll probably never be able to go to a Kings game in my life :( . I'd love to see that pic of the signing!
