Weather Update

I must have slept like a log last night.

I took the trash out this morning and was certainly surprised to see that it was soaking wet outside and that all three of my trash cans had blown over -- quite spectacularly -- in the wind.

It's getting ugly out there today. In case anyone is wondering, the helicopter full of snow bunnies has not yet arrived. Must be an issue with the power lines.

Today is the first day we've seen the sun since Sunday (HA! Imagine that!). It has rained for 5 days straight, but on the other hand I ought to be happy it wasn't cold enough to turn the rain into snow. Boy, what I mess THAT would have been.

Can't help with the snow Bunnies, but if you need a truck load of firewood and movie or tow let me know and I'll chain up for a mercy run. If the hot tub is electric could look at that too while I'm up there... if it's gas call Hank Hill.

Come anytime to drink wine, but I have a Hot Springs technician coming next Wednesday to fix the hot-tub. Actually, to be totally truthful, I may have slightly exaggerated my current situation in hopes of having a helicopter full of snow bunnies, maybe just a few, dispatched to my house. I appreciate the concern.

I, on the other hand, was a brave little soldier during my recent time of peril and harrowing experience and my courage has been rewarded.

Yesterday I received a package from the NBA store. Although the gift was not signed, I did recognize the confirmation telephone number!

I want to thank one of our members (who can reveal his/her name if they desire) for the fantastic purple Kings long-sleeve "trekkie" t-shirt. It is going to start tonight against the Hawks and, I'm sure, will become a regular starter for the rest of the season!

Its been warm here this week...about 73 degrees, which is really odd considering that it January, and we normally get cold weather...people are actually calling it June-uary...I'm not complaining though cuz I loooove warm weather.

Strange, isn't it? It's been pretty warm here, too. Highs have been consistently in the 50s except for today, but it's supposed to warm up again tomorrow.
