hate him or love him, hes the missing piece to our team! RON ARTEST! we have shooters, we have clutch players, we need someone thats a good defensive player and can get some boards! not to mention he averaged 18 points a game last year and in the 7 games he played this year hes averaged 24! i hope i can see him in a kings jersey next year!

Ron Artest is the truth, just cuz he made a mistake doesn't mean im gonna hold it against him forever. SKILLZ is all that matters to me, you play your heart out and you cool in my book.

i would bet anything if we got him and went on the win the championship, everyones views on the man would change in a heartbeat!

If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, acts like a duck, it's safe to assume you're not dealing with a squirrel.(if not, run)

I'll pass on Artest.

With all of the equine abuse that's been going on lately, I may have to call the proper authorities.

Psst...not really sure you can "abuse" a dead animal. ;)

Technically, the definition of abuse makes no assumptions as to the state of the person, animal, inanimate object, etc.

However, I'd almost prefer to substitue "flagellation" for "abuse" when given a moment to think it over.

In the 7 games he played this year BEFORE he went totally nuts, you mean.

We do NOT need nor could we withstand having Ron Artest in a Kings' uniform.

I'd sooner have Dennis Rodman.

A mistake? understatment of the year. Do your home work and them come back with a compleet repeort of every suspension, and fine Ron has had and THEN tell us you wnat to see him play for the Kings.

i wouldnt mind artest.... can we sign and trade mobley for him? its not like indy really needs him.... well actually you could trade them straight up.... but has artest signed an extension yet? if not can tou sign and trade both of them for the same price? neither team loses money.... and if peja wants to leave..... well, we have artest and martin or evans can play sg.... its a win win situation.. .cause i doubt that we are keeping mobley, even if we won it all... he'd have even less of a reason to stay if he won... then he could go to atlanta just for the money....

before the detroit incident happened no one cared that he was leading the league in technical fouls, fined on several occasions or even the suspensions he had faced because he was playing real good. all the sudden he beats down a couple drunk fans(some wrongly accused ones) and the guy is a "thug". i could guarantee no matter what team this guy is on next year he has a break out season! and he will make the all star team next year!

I have no problem with Artest. I would love to see him as a King.

Just look at Pacers record this year vs last year. Artest makes the different.

you gotta remember stephen jackson was out for 30 games and oneal was out for 15. you dont just expect them to come back and start where they left off.

Not true at all. Blew him self aned his team out of the the paly offs 2 years running. too bad all the old threads died when the server died, other wise you could see the myriad of threads devoted to Artest for Pedja and other Artest trades from this summer, last summer and all thepoint inbetween. LOTS of people cared and many said things like. "He is getting worse, what good does a great palyer do you if he is constantly out when you need him most."

He certainly wouldn't do us any good this year...he IS suspended after all. Why on Earth would we want to trade Cat, who CAN play for a guy who CAN'T?

I agree with you that Artest makes a difference. He was the reason for their record last year, however he is also responsible for their record this year.

Artest is a risky acquisition, if we get him. But if things don't work out this season, he might be something to be looked at. Afterall championship is what we really look for. Haven't got it till now. So even if it doesn't work out, what's the difference.
But before even being considered, he should be certified by a psychatrist.

Yup this is the same dude that missed last year flight during the playoffs and decided to get a much later flight because he wanted to watch "The Day After Tomorrow". (I think that is the correct title.)

Yup that's what the Kings need.

this is very true.

but everyone knows where i stand on Mr. Artest
