Superman

All-Star
I think the playoffs end early for the Spurs. Good run, would be nice to see them beat the Lakers up, but I don't think they get past Phoenix. Steve Nash is on a mission, and JRich is taking advantage of his first playoff appearance.

Suns in 5.

Didn't he play against the Mavs in 07?

You're doggone right he did. My bad. Everybody has been talking about how this is his first playoff appearance ever... everybody has been wrong. Good catch.

i watched the game last night. i never worried about whether the spurs could win it or not, i always thought they would. even when they didn't, i figured that i would not get worried until the suns won 3 games.

i just think the spurs are better.

Amusing was Tim Duncan's 3 in the last few minutes of the game. You don't see it often, since he's so stolid and has had such an great career, but I think that was frustration at watching Frye bury a handful of threes in his face.

three losses, it's official worry time. well, not really. no sense in worrying about the inevitable. maybe... a big giant maybe, but maybe...

to the end, i'll keep watching.

Sooo...if anybody told you at the beginning of the season that the Suns were going to have a 3-0 lead on the road to the WCF and that they'd have it because of Goran effing Dragic....

I hate it when I watch a game and don't have a team to root for. I like both the suns and the spurs equally haha ... It just gets me yelling at how stupid certain players are. In game 3 I went from saying Amare was useless to saying Manu was gay and then that RJ was useless... etc.

This time, the Spurs fooled the both of us. I just wrote the other day that I didn't think the Spurs could peak this high and now this. A hiccup in 3 seasons worth of thinking SA was finished.

At least you got yours. Could be worse, just don't follow Chicago or Boston's 20 yr plans for resurrection.

One game away from being the guy who "called it" and I still have a glimmer of doubt. The Spurs are the only team in the NBA that I think could possibly string together 3-4 perfect games.

Never - ever count out the Spurs.

Phoenix really looks like they could give the Lakers a run for their money. They have a definitive advantage at point guard, and their bench in >>> than the Lakers. That should be a fun series.

Amazing playoff game! One of the most fun ones I ever watched. I didn't think a one eyed Nash was better than Hill and Parker.

Major props to Steve Nash. There's no way his vision was clear for those shots that he made... I'm just very glad to see San Antonio AND Dallas out before the big show. Now if Utah could just do their part, this NBA fan would be very happy.

:)
