Warrior/Sacramento Deal

To Kings
_______________
Anthony Randolph
#7
Anthony Morrow
Marco Bellinelli

To Warriors
_____________
Francisco
Beno Udrih
#4
____________

Why the Kings Do It
They unload Beno's fugly contract, and get three kids with potential, they also move down to 7 where they could get...oh I don't know say Brandon Jennings without worrying.

Why the Kings Don't Do It
They see to much in losing Francisco over a couple of non proven young guns, and worry that they will have fewer options with the 7 pick.

Why the Warriors Do It

The get a great pick with the number 4 whom they will have a choice probably between Hill, DeRozan and Harden all great players. They also get a proven Vet to help lead the team in Frisco, and they get a solid point guard to help put them back in Playoff contention.

Why The Warriors Don't Do It

They think they are taking to much in from Beno's contract. And they don't want to give up Randolph.

Good idea for kings to trade down and try to get another young talent, but I don't think there's anyway the warriors do this unless they are absolutely in love with someone at #4. They are very high on Randolph. If you replace Brandan Wright with Randolph, they would probably do the trade. Also, I doubt we're able to dump Beno in a deal like this.

Randolph and Morrow are untouchable on my book. Why would they trade a rookie who led the league in three point field goal percentage, and another rookie who put up a near-star quality PER? And besides, Randolph has tons of potential and does a lot of stuff that could probably complement their offense and defense, even though Nelly for whatever reason hates him. But still, we're getting young players and unloading Beno to them? I don't think they want the 4th pick that badly either, so it's a pretty flawed scenario.

Great trade for us even if we take on Brandan Wright. Dumping 2 of our worst contracts to move down is definitely not a bad thing.

i'd do this trade in a heart beat. i'm not a big fan of cisco or beno. if our target player is at 7, pull the trigger :)

These statements make me laugh.

How would beno help anyone get to the playoffs?

What the Warriors are missing at this point of time is a solid point guard who could lead a team. I'm not saying that Beno will help them get back into playoff contention, but I am saying that it will bring them one step closer.

With this year's draft the Warriors will most likely be able to grab a decent point guard at the #7, without having to give up some of their promising young players.

Considering who posted it, do you really have to ask?

I figured "Why?" was the safest comment. Had I posted my first thought, I would have had to give myself an infraction... and I always hate when that happens.

my idea isn't that bad, we wont have to pay 4th pick money to a 7th pick player, and we pick up another 2nd rounder. Garcia might be good but he has not been able to launch from being the 6th man, and he isn't projected to move up on the depth charts. Marco would be new blood, and an early 2nd round pick is cheap. This move would be a money thing, and a gamble that the talent from #4 - #7 is equal or a tossup.
