Cousins? What?

Whiteside has a decent shot. His problem in the post is that he has his mind made up before he gets the ball. He has a move in mind and he's sticking to it. That can be fixed, though. He's not as raw as advertised, although he's still some way from being an impact player, at least offensively.
 
I highly doubt that cousins suddenly has lost interest in playing basketball.

He looks exhausted with no legs under him. Macaroni legs.
 
I;m not saying the fers are worse for us than they are any other team, but jeez, can they not let the kids play? Any ounce of contact and there's a whistle. It's unbelievably annoying.
 
If only our guards could play defense. They're called guards for a reason. To guard against that exact play.

Ah -- I was wondering that exact thing when I saw him play a few days ago. I coldn't remember any others. One of those things when you see how critical an effect culture can have in these things.

I woudlnt mind having Lin on the bench. He plays with alot of energy and has decent size. Also from nearby so would be kind of a local kid.

Yes that is very true. I know from experience :D

His parents (or at least grandparents) were probably more excited that he went to Harvadah more than his potential NBA rooster spot, but things are changing.

My second time seeing him play and he seems pretty solid on both ends of the court. Not going to make the Mavs with all the guards they have but I'm sure he'll come off the bench as spark plug somewhere else.

If i remember correctly, he was not recruited by any college team. Even Cal and Stanford didn't bother to make him an offer even though he was the bay area's top highschool player.
 
That was a nasty fall. Hope he's ok.

On that possession I thought Lin was over dribbling and then it looked like he was about to chuck up a shot over a double team and I was about to hang my head AND THEN THE PERFECT PASS.

Ouch Wayne.

Darn those Maverick scrubs ruining Lin's assists.

Ugly game... it's a total throwaway though, maybe it'll rub off on Cousins that he will need to get in better shape for an NBA schedule. This game isn't going to help any of our guards make the roster.
 
Lin is very impressive, he's quick, has a pretty smooth jumper, makes smart decisions, and brings good height. I'd much rather have us give him a roster spot than any of the scrub guards I've seen on our SL team. Would be nice for marketing also. Make it happen GP.
 
So it's a pretty safe bet that nobody currently on the floor will be on the Kings' squad in 2 months...right? At least those with "Kings" on the front of their jerseys. I wouldn't mind a couple of the Mavs' invites.
 
What gives with 35 points after 3 quarters? Bad offense, good defense, poor guard play? What's up with that?

We are shooting 10-50 right now.
This might be the first time Cousins has been in a game where his team has been crushed this bad.

This is alllllll on coaching. Embarrassing to say the least. 3 games in a row we can't get it started. This time we don't have Donte or Casspi to keep it interesting. Elie is just let everyone dig their graves deeper and deeper. There hasn't been a play run the whole game.

Way to crush our young talents confidence..ie; Whiteside and Cuz. This isn't inspiring anyone...
