Vlade's picture on page A16 of today's Bee

I was driving home listening to Grant and Mike on 1140 and someone called to say that Vlade Divac's picture was on page A16 of today's Bee. It is on the top left hand corner of the page under "Stay Connected." It talks about the upcoming tribute to Vlade, but it features Vlade in Lakers warmup gear. It's probably from when he came back to Arco the year after he left the Kings. Grant and Mike didn't believe it and opened the paper to check it out. They were stunned. I bought a copy of the Bee because I just had to see it to believe it.

Is the Bee just trying to irritate Kings fans? This along with the insulting cartoons from Rex Babin towards the Kings arena efforts, and other various things, we could go on and on...

The www.sacbee.com website has a picture of Vlade in Kings gear which is the picture they should have used in the paper. Yes, the Bee is still in business, and so is NBC. Both are doing about equally well.

I swear that everyone in charge at the Bee Sports Dept are Southern CA transplanted Laker fans. They suck. I cannot believe they pulled that B.S. Wait, yes I can. Reread my 1st sentence.

Over the years, I have cut back from taking the daily Bee to just weekends. I am quitting that altogether. I decided the paper is not worth paying for. That's a shame, since I still believe in print media.

Yeah, I feel the same way 6th, being in the media myself for the past 15 years I think it's a shame that the Bee sucks with the exception of a few writers, and they're getting rid of one of the greats in Marty McNeal next week too...whatever. I like Amick to a degree, and Voison has a good moment every blue moon, but everyone else seems to be trying to imitate the LA Times. Oh well, to get the real scoop on the Kings, people can just come here, right?

Bill Bradley is from Arizona, I believe.

But I haven't seen the picture in question, and probably never will. Oh well.
