Tyson Chandler...

yea i don't think they want SAR because they play a fast moving offense and they like shooters. Brad would fit perfectly with the Bulls with his ability to stretch the defense. Also we don't need any of their guards because we need PT for Garcia and Martin. So Brad for Chandler sounds good.

Brad for Chandler sounds good to me too, but if the dude from the New Orleans Hornets board is right, Chandler will not be an option for us (or anyone else for that matter) anymore.

Then Garcia and/or Martin lose minutes. If we did get Nocioni, Garcia would be going to the Bulls.

thats assuming we are keeping both and/or we retain wells, all are question marks. the idea here is to improve and that is where my mentality is at.

Well, Garcia's the more likely to be dealt, and right now, all things point to us re-signing Bonzi.

Garcia would have to be dealt in another deal after this one for Nocioni to play and get the minutes needed. Since both command minutes and need to play.

Not saying I don't want Nocioni, I do, I love the guy.

Which makes an offer of Brad Miller & Cisco distinctly overpriced I think, although it would seem to be the sort of combo they are looking for -- true OG and vet big. They might have to send us some extra candy. ;)
You are forgetting one thing. PJ is an expiring deal and even if they trade Chandler and Allen for PJ and JR, then they can still be under the cap next year when PJ's contract comes off the books.

There is also a thing of the direction Bulls are taking. They are getting more athletic and quicker, why would they want a slow Brad Miller who still has few years left on his contract.

JR Smith is also a bit more intruiging prospect than Cisco IMHO.

Id love it if the Kings could get Chandler without giving up Miller. Maybe KT, Hart and/or Corliss? Then we go and sign Claxton.

If there's any validity to the PJ Brown/JR Smith for Chandler rumors, it seems that Chicago wants a big expiring contract and a young swing man. In terms of making Chicago a counteroffer the Kings could match PJ Brown's expiring salary with Corliss and Potapenko and JR Smith with Garcia, but as a player PJ Brown could give them more than Corliss and Potapenko and Smith has probably has more potential than Garcia.

If this rumor is true, and this is what Chicago wants, not sure there's anything we can do about it.

Apparently the rumour is that its a 3 way deal that sees PJ in Detroit and Wallace in Chicago. When you think about it, thats a great move by the Bulls because they would get Wallace without losing much of their salary cap space. They would still have a lot of money for other FAs

I think Chicago would want Shareef instead of Brad.

Shareef has a smaller contract, and is an offensive-minded post up player.

That's what Chicago said they want.

I totally agree. If the Bulls get Ben Wallace, why would they want Brad...they much rather SAR coming off the bench or starting. But they do like Brad and Hart so who knows. Maybe we can throw in K9 as well for Duhon/Dang or someone else in addition to Tyson.

This is my trade.

Chicago Recieves
Jason Hart
Vitaly Potapenko
Shareef Abdur-Rahim
Corliss Williamson

Chicago Sends
Tyson Chandler
Mike Sweetney
Chris Duhon

Bibby/Chris Duhon/Douby
Bonzi/ Kevin Martin
Artest/Francisco Garcia
Tyson Chandler/Sweetney/Thomas
Brad Miller/Pryzbilla

I really don't think that they want another young swingman. They have plenty in Hinrich, Gordon, Noicioni, Deng..... I think a trade where they get a veteran scorer down low to go with the defensive minded Tyrus Thomas, maybe Ben Wallace, and then almost $10M in expiring contracts.

We get Chandler and Duhon, without giving up any of our young guns, or Brad Miller. Leaves us at a logjam at the 4, but that's where Petrie somehow finds a way to trade Sweetney and K9 for some cash and a draft pick. :D

They'd want Brad for offense and a veteran prescence. Bulls fans/media/even the organization have shown some favor to Brad.

Thing is, they have NO offense but hustle points in their front-court right now... aside from 6'8" Mike Sweetney off the bench. Even with signing a Ben Wallace/Pryzbilla/Nazr, of course.

Their offense: Hinrich/Gordon/Deng/Sweetney/Nocioni - that's it.

With Duhon, it's depending on how he's used by Skiles, which is mostly a ballhandler/passer/defender, even moreso now. As when he starts, he's a good all-around PG. But I don't think he'll be doing much of that.

Sefolosha? Will have to see. Khryapa's a hustle/defensive guy. Pargo's an FA. Even if Sefolosha becomes a good two-way player, that's still not much.

I like the Bulls a lot and will like 'em even more now, and I understand where they're going with Thomas and Sefolosha and Khryapa, no doubt. But, they have to get some offense in the front-court.

Trading for KG/Brad/JO would help that out a lot.
