Tyreke Evans interview

Tyreke seems to be getting more comfortable in interviews. I actually could understand almost all of that. ;)

Somebody who listens, confirm my hearing, though. Near the end he talks about the team needing a veteran. I think he says, "not enough guys on this team take it seriously enough." Did I really hear that?

yea i heard that too. not surprising tho. the thunder had that same problem as a young team. if i remember right, KD said he made sure everyone took it serious this past season. so hopefully reke does the same.

Thanks. I wasn't sure I heard it right. Listen up, teammates! This is the guy to follow. :D

Def a nice interview. Reke did well.

And yeah he did say some players need to be more serious before games and that a veteran leader might help.

Just listened to it, and yes, thats what he said. Kudo's to him for saying it, and let the shoe fit where it may.

Yup, tyreke has been training with urijah faber at ultimate fitness this summer

Really? I knew he had hired a boxing trainer down in L.A. and there were even, but Faber? He's like 3 feet tall. Teach him how to punch NBAers in the kneecap.

A couple of the the Kings players have been training with him, Tyreke, Donte, Brockman....even a non king Brad Miller

pretty sure faber wasn't going toe to toe with him haha probably just showing him MMA type workouts

MMA type workouts are extremely grueling
There have been NFL players who couldnt last in some of these pro workouts.

By the time you're finished, you have lost about 30 gallons of sweat.

Very smart kid. Very good assessment of what is/was going on and what needs to be done - take the games seriously.

I can feel he really tried to lead this team and he wanted to win and win ASAP.

I am so glad it was him and not Rubio that we got.
