Tropical Island IPOD Singles Draft Thread - Pending playoffs

Otherside - Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication (1999)
Great song. The two Chili Peppers songs that I likely would have taken are still up for grabs, but this one definitely would have been considered if I were participating in this draft. Love the video's pseudo-German Expressionist look, as well, and would put this high on my list of potentials if someone starts a music video draft next TDOS.

Yes, well, I didn't have any plans going into the draft with regards to a theme, but I started out with a club/dance hit, and I figured I might as well end the same way... Unfortunately, that still left me with a hundred or so to pick from. So, I pared that list down to fifteen or so, which was, in turn, narrowed down to five and, eventually, down to two... which I've been waffling back and forth on ever since MBF's last pick. But, since it's finally my turn, I'll go with the one which won my most recent coin toss:

777-9311 - The Time - What Time Is It? - 1982
Brilliant song...

sorry folks, been sick. Had a perfect song picked out to end my list but being sick, I've totally forgotten it. So launchcast gives me:

They Might Be Giants-They Might Be Giants-Flood

Yahoooyee.

30 Rounds all complete with no forfeited picks. Thanx guys and gals. We did it and we finished on opening night. Pretty poetic if you ask me.

I need your rankings. 1-15, everyone except yourself. PM me ASAP. You get a worse ranking if you do not get yours in. Let's get this going eh.

I think this may be the hardest yet in that there is not a single list which does not have multiple songs I like upon it. When one person has 7 songs you like, incuding an all time favorite, and another has 9 songs you like, but maybe not the all time favorite, choosing is tough.

And I still don't see what the big deal is with the initial rankings. When voting for real, yeah. For rankings, eh, as long as I get them somewhat close to what I think a final order is, I'm OK with that. I can fine-tune later....

I still need 5 rankings. I will be gone for a couple days and then really busy when I get back. Hopefully, all the rankings will be in by Wednesday and I can look at setting up the voting soon thereafter.

Starting to realize uninterrupted sleep is now nothing more than a distant memory?

;)
It took 4 YEARS for our little guy to sleep through the night consistently. One guy at my work said it took their kid 5 years.

I got really jealous and a little frustrated for those whose kids were sleeping 8 hours straight after 6 months or whatever. I was a zombie for almost 4 years at work.....
