Brick's pick got me thinking, and I realized I had completely left any rap/rock/rapcore songs of my list. That's really unacceptable. Plus I've been in the rock drafting mood lately, so here's a goodie.

Renegades of Funk -
Rage Against the Machine - Renegades
I really could take anything of their cover album, Renegades. Its probably my favorite thing the rap rock genre has ever done. Their covers of The Ghost of Tom Joad, Street Fighting Man, In My Eyes, How I Could Just Kill a Man, and Maggie's Farm are all excellent. I contemplated taking each of them.
But, I think the fusion of rap and rock is best on the title track, which is a cover of Afrika Bambaataa's 80s funk jam of the same name. Rage's version is better a lot due to Morello's memorable riff (which is usual in Rage songs), and De La Rocha's delivery of rap and rock that few can pull of so well. Its great that this band is back together, I hope they still have some creativity left in them because they I'm sure they still have the talent.
Oh, and this song lists so many people in it a Wikipedia page was made about it.
