I too like Depeche Mode more now than I did back in the 80s.

Of course that means next to nothing given how much I absolutely detested them back in the day. ;)

Haha yeah soon turned into a while....woops.

Great picks with Imagine and Riders on the Storm. I wanted to take Imagine and would want it on a list of mine if this were really the last 30 songs I could ever listen to, but I figured its pretty similar to Hey Jude in many ways and could leave it off. As for the fill of Beatles, rest assured I got one or two more coming up.

Not sure if I'm loading up too much on classics but this is still here and its a favorite so...

I've always liked their version of this song, and what a fun song it is. Also like the "Casualty Mix" of this one but the standard version works well, too.

Everyone who wins a draft thread will at least temporarily get one. It was VF's idea. And a good one. Slim tracked down the "award". JGar did the work behind the scenes to make it happen.

I happen to think this song is really beautiful, but still was going to hold off on it and try to nab it as a late round sleeper until Aleksandar came out of the blue to select Ms. Bif as one of his island hotties in the Babe Draft. That took me by complete surprise, and while I had no idea if that would translate over to her music, or to this most atypical of songs for her (she is primarily a goofy hyper punkish chick), I was not going to risk it.

Ah...so there was a threat after all -- was not sure if it was all just in my head.

I would apologize, except I know how much ridiculous hand wringing I have gone through waiting to fire that pick off. Almost did it last cycle after your Bif babe pick, but then I also felt like I had to defend Kelly Clarkson's Since U Been Gone from Bozzwell after Warhawk opened that door. So I have been counting the picks. And on top of that that's my video you are watching (an edited version of the official with the better vocal performance of the newer (shorter) version of the song subbed in for the original). So I can't apologize. But I do empathize -- I really love the passion of that song. :)

When I picked her in the babe draft I was banking on her as a relative unknown. I was going to pick after my current rotation. I did not think anyone would pick a song of hers. I might have to rethink my rotational order now given how some of my picks have been already taken/.
