So, some pretty good picks lately. Champagne Supernova is the song I thought D-Mass was talking about earlier, and it should have been, because its a better song than the one I know he is thinking of now :D

I Am the Walrus really hurt. I mean, that is literally my favorite song ever. I feel dirty that I just voted for bozz in the music finals after that travesty.

For my next pick, I pick what is easily my favorite Who song. Mainly because its not as overplayed as the Who songs already picked, and it has more than just an awesome intro and/or outro.

Pinball Wizard - The Who - Tommy

Next up, my Red Hot Chili Peppers contribution...and my favorite from Blood Sugar Sex Magik...

Suck My Kiss - Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magik

[yt=Suck My Kiss]Joqf35Pn2cI[/yt]

Love this song...and the video is great, too. None of the gold glitz and crotch shots of Give It Away...just RHCP playing in a building with random shots of LA. And as usual, another great bass line by Flea.

Good pick...but I'm pretty sure you don't know what Oasis song I'm thinking of. It might not even be on the album you're thinking of...

:p

Interesting. I think you underestimate my Oasis knowledge though. I mean, psych rock is my top genre.

where you were you? when weeee were gettting censored?

Pick #11, and still some great songs left. Good thing we stretched it to 30 really. Is this the first Dave Matthews song to go? I pick another all time favorite Crash into Me (Dave Matthews Band) Crash.

Oh, some irony there given that I had just, and I mean just in the last couple of hours, pondered adding a Dave Matthews song to my list.

ipod wants me to select...

What Hurts The Most - Rascal Flatts - Me and My Gang

Now...I don't do much country, but this is one I fell in love with once I was introduced to it via a roundabout reason.

The rock remake of the micheal jackson song, I actually like both versions but this one is sweet.I Always thought this would be a great song for rock band or guitar hero .. maybe someday .. until then i'll be listening to it on my island ..

Yeah I really liked that song too. I'd be lying if I said I heard another song by them though. I don't seem to be missing out on much, as they haven't been on the radar since

Smooth Criminal was pretty good, pretty big song when I was growing up. I had no idea it was a Michael Jackson song the first time I heard it.

They only had 1 other song I ever heard, it was called Movies. Not sure if it was original or not, but pretty good too.

Alright, I've been putting this off for a while, I'm sure its safe, but you never know...
"Guitars, Cadillacs" - Dwight Yoakam - Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc. (1986)
[yt=...and hillbilly music]w49kODK02Bw[/yt]
Title says it all really.

Dwight's one of the few country acts over the last 20 years to have scored both with the Nashville crowd and the crowd that prefers the traditional Bakersfield sound of his country idols like Buck Owens. I saw him a few years back in Denver and the crowd was a mix of all types from Garth Brooks wannabes to greasers and punks. It was a fun show, right after Buck had passed and he did a rousing tribute. This is probably my favorite song of his, and while I could live without an entire album, I definitely need a few good country tunes to keep me company.

Are you serious? You can make custom tracks? I have guitar hero 3 on Wii, help a brother out.
Its only Guitar Hero 2 and it requires you to exploit something in the Rush song on there and I think you have to have a modded Xbox.

You can watch tons of custom GH2 tracks on YouTube if you want.

To end this round, I have to go with a song that blared from the 4-track player in my first convertible:

Hawaii 50 - The Ventures

And to start the 12th round, I'm picking another oldie a lot of you know from the movie Major League. I still picture Charlie Sheen walking to the pitcher's mound whenever I hear this...

Wild Thing - The Troggs

Though its about cheap, nasty fortified wine, this will also close out my string of songs that might inspire me to put the gas pedal down:
"Night Train" - Guns 'n' Roses (Appetite for Destruction - 1987)

Ok, I'll be honest... I never got all the fuss about a pair of the bigger tracks from this album which came out over a year after its release because I had already been listening for most of the year before and decided what the best tracks were. To me those were, in no particular order: My Michelle, Mr. Brownstone and this. This is also reportedly many of the band members favorite tune to play.
