Sounds like the Rockets amongst other are hot to trot to move up in the draft.

Wanted some feedback here. Do you think the Kings(or Rockets for that matter) would be interested in a deal like this?

#5 and Beno Udrih to Houston for Brooks, Jefferies and #14?

Pick up Whiteside at #14 and roll with a roster like this:

C: Dalembert, Whiteside
PF: Landry, Thompson, Brockman
SF: Greene, Casspi, Jefferies
SG: Evans, Garcia
PG: Brooks, Randle #33?

Rockets get one of Cousins or Monroe and Beno can replace Brooks in the starting line-up.

Thoughts?

brooks evans backcourt isnt much of an upgrade either. Beno and Evans is really a very good comibination with the only problem being beno is slightly overpaid, if he stays healthy i have no problem with keeping him his combination with evans is dam solid

Really? Brooks shoots a high volume of threes and hits at a high clip(high 30's.) He's an excellent ball-handler, is quick as lightning and a very good floor general to boot. He's also relatively young enough to grow with our guys. We move doen 9 picks and likely select Whiteside who Geoff is high on apparantly.

It's basically Monroe for Whiteside/Brooks.

I think I take that as it fills two holes for us and one is Brooks who's proven to be a very productive PG.

u mean BENO/MONROE for BROOKS/WHITESIDE... no thanks
Beno has proved he belongs to this team... i really loved his consistency and solid play this last season and I believe he can do it again this year... besides we're goin for SIZE and BROOKS undersized at 6'0 and leaving EVANS @ SG would limit his size advantage over other point guards... not a good trade at all...

Casspi and Landry should be starters.
Donte is so unstable... espacially when it comes to mid and long distance shots.

anyway, I wouldn't go for this trade.

Ehh Id start Donte for defense and energy alone, he can get blazing hot from 3 as well I think this is gonna be his breakout season.
