Don't you hate it when TV starts to rule your life?? There's two shows on my can't-miss list tonight-the Kings/Spurs game and American Idol. Unfortunately I'm going to have to miss both because I have a church committment tonight. It's especially a bummer with the Kings game!! AI I can just record and watch later. I wish I had a little TV set that I could bring with me to church and then sneak a peek at the game now and then. I just feel so stupid and silly for being upset about it, for being a slave to TV.

I just witnessed a grown man (well, kind of) nearly come to tears over a papercut.

He's currently flouncing around the office shaking his hand violently, wincing and looking for a Band-Aid. I, unfortunately, am too busy to assist him.

Two days after game 4, and my voice is getting worse and not better. The ringing in my ears has subsided for the most part, but it's still noticeable.

I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!

I'll admit it.

I miss the rain. It's not even close to summer, and it's already hot enough that I have to change and lay under the ceiling fan the minute I get home.

One of these years I'll get used to this heat.

My favorite roses are now blooming, and are almost stunning enough to make you able to ignore the fact that the rest of my yard is a weed patch that I haven't felt like tackling yet.






And, by "tackling" I, of course, mean paying someone else to tackle for me.

i twisted my leg pretty bad and it hurts like hell, cant even walk on it. guess i will be seeing the doctor tomorrow. i didnt realize i had taken being mobile for granted til now. not a whole lotta fun to say the least.

just my luck.. so many things going on this weekend and i cant do any of it. not anything at all (but i do get to watch the kings game, of course) there is a murs concert tonight, a friend is having the oscar de la hoya vs ricardo mayorga pay-per-view fight tomorrow and there is a huge party at another friends house afterward. and lucky me, i get to miss it all :mad:

btw, any Train fans here? they are coming to Austin on May 23rd and I am debating whether or not to purchase tix for this show. i will probably decide last second as is usually the case.

so oscar de la hoya knocked mayorga out, which was not what i wanted to see. i hate that overrated s.o.b. these last 2 days have sucked and not gone my way in regards to sports.

I have the urge to sell my car.

I want a Mustang...OR a Camaro...Or something more sporty that a 1990 Lexus ES250.

It has a new rebuilt engine...But Im tired of the boring sedan.

I have to find a pretty good bargain, as Im a poor college kid.

And I wish I could get a new one...I love that car! My neighbor just got one, and Im hella jealous.

you should be able to find pretty good bargains on something in that range with decent mileage. i had thought about getting a 'stang myself before purchasing my current car. i went with acura instead but have always liked mustangs a great deal. i still would love to get an older 5.0 model. the new ones are very cool indeed.

If I wasn't so obscenly picky over the color I wound't have a hard time.

Just with a quick browse through Vehix/Cars.com I see some really affordable ones.

Unfortunatly they are all green, or some ugly color of the sort.

...Any color other than black, red, or maybe white won't work for me, though.

While watching G4 a little while ago, I saw footage of the upcoming sequel to "God of War."

Me want. Me want NOW.

During combat, there is a new special move where you kill a cyclops by climbing up and ripping out his eyeball. :D
