Having small veins sucks - I needed to have blood drawn this morning, and the nurse couldn't find one in the crook of my elbow, the vein in my right hand didn't put out much, nor did my left wrist. I get to return Monday morning to try again. Feeling too much like a pincushion!

how did it go?

I have to scream.

About the whole Artest situation.

I thought he was here for half of the day, got home from school, abd my dad says "It's dead." Then I find out it's still alive.

IT has to go down.

Peja is going to be a fraction of the fraction of a man he is now.

We need Artest.

Last Wednesday's lotto was sooo close. I usually play my kings numbers and got 4 out of the 5 plus the mega! I freaked out when I saw the winning numbers on the news because I didn't play!:( If I wouldv'e bought the tickets then I would have been 1 of 88 people who got those numbers and won a little over $1,000.00. Not gonna win me a house, but it's better than a poke in the eye!!:p

VERY well - the 2nd nurse must have been the Queen of Nurses - she had a vein, and 2 vials of sample in about 90 secs. I got my results yesterday, and everything was spot on! Now maybe my doc will stop worrying like some mother hen.

On another good note, I really like the new e-file options offered by IRS & FTB! I filed my taxes last week, and already have BOTH refunds!!!!

arwen - I efiled for the first time this year. I didn't opt for the automatic deposit, however. I like the feel of the checks in my hands. ;)

Glad to see you here, BTW, my dear.

:D

I love Target clearance sales. Few months ago I bought a Samsung 26" HDTV originally $699 for $175 :) Yesterday I bought a bunch of golf stuff at 75% off. I got a driver originally $120 for $17 (that's more than 75% off !!! ). Driving range here I come!! 10" of snow that fell last week is almost melted.

this is probably the first year in a long time I won't efile or do my own taxes. Too much chance of missing something or getting audited with everything that went on this year. It sucks, by now I would have my refunds. Still waiting for a W-2 form also...:(

Report came out showing for the first time in a decade Tokyo no longer holds the most expensive city in the world title. still doesn't make it cheap to visit/live.

The bad thing about vacations is that they're too short:( I had so much fun in Philly. I went to 3 games and took advantage of the free LP to see some Kings games. I got to meet some of the Suns at iggy's party (Amare looked good in that suit;)) I hung out with Louis Williams and his mom ( he is so sweet) and then on my last night there, after the Suns game, I had dinner with C-Webb and Matt Barnes:D which was a blast, they were so funny. There was lobster, crab legs and shrimp. It was a great bball vacation. It would have been better if the teams I wanted to win had, but it was very difficult to come home. I even squeezed in the tourist things like the Liberty Bell ( they teased me about wearing a Kings tshirt).
Thanks to Dougie and her mom for making me feel so welcome. They're glad I left so they can get some rest but I miss them already.

Had a root canal today. Dang! The numbness is wearing off. :(
Ouch. Oil of clove is supposed to help...at least a little.

Either that, or hit your big toe really hard with a hammer. The resulting throbbing agony will most likely take your mind off your tooth.

Thanks a lot. ;)

I have no Oil of clove. And the tylenol #3 hasn't helped a bit. I am very tired, so maybe going to bed early will help. Will try not to roll over onto that side of my face.

EY NOOP! (lol) Time went way too fast all last week, it really did. I had so much fun in ur company Loops. So quiet without u here (and more meat left lonely, lmao) :D Well Loopy mentioned the great highlights of the vacation, I may as well say my vacation too even tho I live here in Philly. She got me out of my lazy state of being. Thanks for dragging me out of the house. Tuesday night, Jan 31st was the best night! U forgot to mention along with the "finger lickin'" lobster, crab legs and shrimp... leanred some new dance moves, watched "one too many" go down the hatch, and the LINT! lmao oh and yea..thank god for happy hour.. or else..lmfao nevermind. Ah good times! Never forget!

Haven't yet ... there's always a first time. Do you water-ski, kneeboard, wakeboard or wakesurf ???

I do have a tube, but it's gotta leak somewhere that I haven't repaired yet. Then again, haen't used the tube for about a season and a-half.

Actually, I don't do any of the above. However, it is fun to go out and watch others...provided I have plenty of sun-block. :p
