Yeah...It's a very very long story, so here's the breifest overview I can do.
First off, my one-time friend got together with this girl...Me and her eventually became pretty good friends (emphasis on friends, as at the time I never thought anything of her). Well, suddenly he thought that we were suddenly doing stuff behind his back...He commanded her not to talk to me, took my number out of her phone book, etc. etc...She made an another e-mail account (as he changed her other ones password), and we talked...Completly innocent friend type of stuff...He found it, kicked her out of his life, and pretty much said to me "It's either me, or her." Well, I thought to myself "My 'friend' isn't going to make me give up one of my best friends just because he says so." so I chose her.
Time went by, and eventually we got together...Guy finds out, spins off a whole "I still love you" B.S. story to her, and won her back.
So now there's a wierd love-triangle thingy going, and I want to get this girl back...She means everything to me now.
And that's the short version! Yikes!

I'm actually a really good shopper for 90% of my list. I love shopping for close friends and family and tend to buy things throughout the year that I think they'd like. My mom, my aunt and a couple really close friends are so fun to shop for (similar taste and sense of humor to my own) that I have to stop myself from buying more and more.
Its that other 10% though. The few cousins and extended family members that I only see twice a year, etc. that always trip me up.
Last night I thought I finished all of my shopping, until I got to work today and found a present sitting on my desk from the new employee (and today we'd planned on giving the "we don't usually do office gifts" lecture). As much as I hate re-gifting, I was given a restaurant gift card that will soon be his. I'm not going near another store until at least mid-January. I refuse.
Its that other 10% though. The few cousins and extended family members that I only see twice a year, etc. that always trip me up.
Last night I thought I finished all of my shopping, until I got to work today and found a present sitting on my desk from the new employee (and today we'd planned on giving the "we don't usually do office gifts" lecture). As much as I hate re-gifting, I was given a restaurant gift card that will soon be his. I'm not going near another store until at least mid-January. I refuse.
My shopping was complete at least a week before Christmas. I am not working the 2nd job any longer so I had 3 days off this weekend. 
Saturday I did some preparation work and went to Church for the Christmas vigil service. On Christmas Day I did nothing but be lazy, play on the computer, and play games. It was a wonderful day!!

I got highest bid on 4-tix (section 108 - row Q), parking pass, 2-6th Man T-Shirts ... all for $300.00 - Capital Crew Silent Auction.

At first I was bidding by myself and there were 2 other names that kept coming back and putting in a higher bid. Well, I teamed-up with one other person bidding for those tickets, asked if they really needed 2 or 4 tickets. She said she'd like 4, but that all she really wanted were 2 .... BINGO !!! Let's split the cost and combine our $$$$ ... all I really want are 2-tickets .... she said "Great Idea' .... now we're going to the game together. She's bringing her son and I'm bringing mine ... we're leaving the spouses and other kids at home (heh-heh).
Spouses know what we were doing ....

arwen...i caught it three weeks ago and just finished getting over it... it got into my lungs twice...had to get antibiotics...i feel for ya..zicam worked pretty good. gypsy cold care or echinacea tea with honey and lemon work pretty good too. drank the tea and took extra vitamin c and echinacea to kill it off completely.
