the **** are they doing another goddamn tribute for?
Granted I mostly stick to watching PLEs these days but outside of crispinwah isn't it standard procedure to do one on Raw and one on Smackdown? You know, since they are totally different shows that exist in separate universes and fans have visceral allegiances to one of the other.

“Randy Savage got a ten bell salute so I’m gonna need two of them, brother” -Terry Bollea probably

Not gonna lie here...I actually haven't paid enough attention to remember if it is actually standard practice for the WWE to hold multiple tributes (one on RAW and one on Smackdown). However, if it is not standard practice, one would only assume this time around was an exception just because of how prominent of a figure Hulk Hogan has been both in the WWE, and in professional wrestling in general.

On the one hand, I agree with you: if there was one guy, in WWE of all places, that was going to get the double tribute, it's Hulk Hogan.

On the other hand, **** Hulk Hogan. RIH, Bozo.

He gets his tributes and then will largely be erased from memory. Probably a fair compromise.

Anecdotal evidence: My kid was noticeably sad about Ozzy, who tbh, I have never really listened to with him unless it just comes on as a one off (maybe he does at his mom's who knows). Meanwhile I got him into wrasslin in 2013 around the time of my divorce. He was just like "who cares" when I told him HH died. Says it all.

I mean, I’m pretty sure they only gave Bray Wyatt one ten bell salute tribute episode and he was a universally beloved (behind the scenes) current member of the company roster.

Lash feuding with Nia Jax? if they aren’t gonna put the title on her, they may as well just put her on Smackdown then.
