Not a fan of how the ending to Great American Bash portends for Evolution. Based on standard WWE booking, the finish to the GAB main event means Jacy Jayne is a lock to retain tonight. And I don't like the sound of that at all.

She totally pulled a Seth Rollins. It's probably a good thing in hindsight that Jade/Naomi didn't go on first; would have made it too obvious.

All the matches were okay to great; the only match I'd rate below good is the battle royal, but I have an anti-battle royal bias. I'm still super-annoyed, though that we had a card with five championship matches, and the only title that changed hands was on a cash-in.

Booking Nikki Bella against Chelsea Green is smart because there is no one better in the wide world of wrestling right now at making whoever they’re wrestling look good than Chelsea but selfishly I’d rather see her get to do something interesting instead of putting over a Bella Twin in the year 2025.

And of course, based on standard WWE booking, the ending of NXT indicates that Jacy is going over Masha at Slammiversary.

Oddly watching that Netflix promo is the first time I've felt a shred of emotion about it in the last 90 minutes. I guess it must be similar to the folks moved by Ozzy's final show (which was just depressing as all get out for me).

The last couple of months of Terry’s pro wrestling life culminated in him getting booed mercilessly at RAW, catching a random stray from CM Punk on the road to the Royal Rumble, and him reportedly trying to get another WWE appearance only for everyone to tell him no.

The man went out the way he was supposed to go out.
