By right clicking on the picture and checking the website there hosted on, it's photobucket. So I don't see these being their new logo design, and thank God because those are ugly. Nothing can compare to the one the Kings have now.

No, I just photobucketed them for the image. These are the official new Kings logo and jersey designs. They'll take effect after this season.

I have a hard time believing that the NBA would allow these images to be released to anyone as of now. The NBA has a thing about keeping these under raps and they have done a great job about it before by not letting things leak.

It's true. It got leaked, but the NBA isn't aware of it yet. They'll close those images as soon as they find out. It's like how the Houston Rockets logo and unis were leaked by a Chinese website a month before their release. Sometimes these things happen.

really now, is this true? so the current unis, after only a few years, will be considered retros then? i;m having mixed feelings about it right now but if they indeed will be the new unis & logos, then i guess i've no choice but to love'em! they do look a little plain & not much lively color in them.

The icon looks like something that would appear in a deck of cards. I guess that shouldn’t be unexpected.

Overall, I like, but there isn't much change here.

Don't have any say, but.... I like the colors and the "s" with the crown. The other logo items with the upper body, don't do anything for me. As long as they are not baby blue. Puck!!!

Golly, I sure wish they would go back to the John Stockton short-shorts. I heard that nasty street thugs in the Castro wear them now, so it ought to be OK with the NBA athletic fashion establishment.

I'm not going to judge the artwork, but I'll give a big thumbs up to bringing back the black uniforms in any capacity. Count this Kings' fan on board with the new unis.

The uniforms are fine as is the new lettering and the logo with the "S", but the logo with the face doesn't do anything for me. There's still a long time before the off season so I wouldn't be surprised if these designs change before then.

But the black ones are AWESOME!! I've missed the black ever since they changed. Get rid of the face and I'll love them. I don't really like the Kings font either. I like the way it was before the previous change. Those are to spaced out.

Uh...in case nobody has this one figured yet, ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY.

Retro unis, new color shcemes, new logos = sell more merchandise. If you stayed with the same colors and logo al the time, in a few years everyone who was going to buy one would already have one. So you change things up in hopes that those same people will buy the new color scheme/logo so as not to look out of date.

They are interesting but I have to confess to being somewhat skeptical. After all, Gargy, you have been known to post things that are figments of the imagination and not exactly truthful in nature.

I don't see the Maloofs, who are very fan savvy, changing the logo without some kind of input from the fans. At least, I would hope they'll consider it...

Of course, by discussing it here, we might actually have an influence in some small way.

Pesonally, our logo ain't broke and I hope they don't fix it. As far as the uniforms go, I actually think they look okay. Change them, if they must - and will sooner or later anyway - but leave the logo alone, especially if they're talking about the logo with the crossed lances, crown and ball. That one rocks. The SK one? Hey, I personally have never liked it that well anyway.
