The Nets leaning toward Favors. Hopefully!

Thats great to hear, I really don't understand why for a second they'd be looking at big cousins he's not a 4 in the NBA no way no how, you'd think with all the undersized centers of today that you'd hear nothing but hype about DMC as the next great center. I guess all this talk about his mental make up is really gonna mess this dudes stock up and thats a damn shame.

I'm sure NJ will draft Favors, we all know he has been the guy they've focused on since the draft lottery and Cousins would of had to absolutely destroyed him in the workouts to have a chance to be drafted there. Not to mention Favors is at a position of need and Cousins isn't.

That makes the most sense

Both that the Nets would take Favors at 3, and if they didn't the T-Wolves would snap him right up. Blatant, easy fit for both teams.

For the Nets, if they pick Favors they've got a championship level frontline. Really nice combo of size athleticisim and skill between he and Lopez. They've got some nice young backcourt talent in Harris, Lee and Terrence Williams. I think it would be a really nice sell to LeBron. If not LeBron, a really nice sell to Carmelo next year.

DE and Chard Ford are now both reporting that the Nets will be taking Wes Johnson at #3. If it's true, good news for us. Favors or Cousins will be available....

Wesley Johnson is moving up to 3, New Jersey, on our next mock coming shortly. Told New Jersey will take him and go for a PF in free agency.

Take it for what it's worth...who knows what will really happen.

I was thinking that was what Kahn was doing when he talked about Favors being out of shape. This is not a smart move on Kahn's part. Clearly NJ had already worked him out and knew Kahn was lying. He's just pissing off everyone, agents, players and other GMs around the league. You know what happens when you pee people off in a world that requires tact and diplomacy? You end up not being employed. I predict this is the last summer this clown has in the NBA.

All said and done, it will go down with Wall, Turner, Favors. The loose cannon kind of backed himself in a corner and really should be safe and go with Johnson. But stupid is as stupid does and he might just go with Cousins and really make a mess for himself.
