That was an official report by the Milwaukee media. As said on page 3 in that thread by a number of people.
Well, other than those two scenarios for us, it was unknown. The rest are just assumptions. With our expirings, that wasn't reported as being offered, but obviously if we tried, the Blazers offer of expiring deals was better.
With the Chandler deal, who the hell knows. I didn't see us involved, and with Petrie, just because were not in the news doesn't mean there is/was no involvement. Could of, and I'd say was, that PJ Brown is a better player than any of our expiring bigs.
Then the Bulls at the time possibly liked JR Smith better than Garcia or had a notification after or before from Denver that they wanted JR Smith. I'd say it was the latter. Then Adrian Griffin is tied into that as well, since JR was dealt to Denver for Eisley and 2 R2 picks, and then Eisley was waived from the Bulls, so the Bulls could sign Griffin. Which makes sense with all the young wing-players around, was a good guy for them in 04-05, and that he was missed in Chicago last season.
With the Brad possibility, well, who knows again. Petrie either didn't want to give him up, or all that talk about Brad in Chicago wasn't agreed upon by Paxson.
