The bulls situtation: who do they trade and can we get some ..

The chicago bulls are in an interesting situation, a good one but deffinetly interesting.

if they pick rose, hinrich is probly gone.

if they pick beasley, noah or thomas could be moved.

As far as the kings are concerned, at least in my opinion, i want the bulls to grab beasley.

this opens up noah and thomas for trade, noah already has a bad rap in chicage with the recent marajuana troubles AND if i remember correctly he was suspended for a game last year that came from the other players.

noah played more minutes than thomas last year and started 30 games so it looks like the bulls like him better than thomas, but the off the court stuff probly evens it out. If you think about it noah is what we want at the PF spot .. hes a mikki moore with better skill offensively and can rebound and defend very well, you can compare him to a better version of varejao who gave garnett trouble during the celtics/cavs series... also around draft time last year i think at least 50% of us wanted him over hawes..

the point im trying to make is that i think the kings should go after this kid ...

i would trade salmons and a second rounder for him without question, even ron artest just to get rid of him .. maybe our first rounder .. i think noah will be better than any big left when we pick anyways.

lemme know what you guys think, feel free to make a case for thomas but i dont think anyone likes him right now ..

The major problem in dealing with the Bulls is that we don't have a ton to offer them. With Deng on the roster they don't really have a spot on the court for Artest. The guy they might be able to use though would be Miller. If we could get one of their young guys and some salary filler kinda like the Bibby trade I think it would be a steal. I'm not really sure they'd go for it though as Miller is old and his contract is pretty long.

Yah that's the thing, I don't see many trade partners for us this summer. We're pretty much stuck with what we have. Maybe a couple win-now teams might be interested in Miller or Artest but certainly not enough to give up more than expirings and picks.

noah was their starting center after big ben was traded. i would pick rose if i was the bulls and move hinrich for a bigman OR another high draft pick. rose's size, athleticism and defense are just too good to pass up on that position.

The Bulls like Aaron Gray and have him on for another year to see how well he does off the bench. The kid is a decent rebounder. He also has a decent post game. Supposedly the Bulls are fine with moving Deng to SG which keeps Gordon playing from the bench where he seems to bring the most energy. It's possible they can grab Beasley, and move Gooden, or draft Rose, and move Hinrich. I think moving Gooden would be easier imo as Gooden only has one more year left on his contract.

Where did you hear this to? If this is true, then they may be interested in Artest. I don't think Deng is suited to play SG though. He's closer to a PF than a SG imo

After how Miller played last year I wouldn't be surprised if we have a few teams knocking at our doors for his services. Spurs, Toronto, Nets, Miami, and many others. Salmons and Garcia are also tradeable.

I think the Nets may be overlooked as a trading partner. They need frontcourt help. I wouldn't be surprised to see them make a run for Miller. I wouldn't mind getting one of their young guys like S. Williams (doubtful), M. Williams, Boone, or even Ager

It was the Bulls announcers. I get league pass so I get to hear opinions of specific team announcers. They were mentioning how in a large lineup that Deng doesn't give up much defensively yet he creates a lot of problems with his strength and athleticism when the Bulls go big and the opposing SG is forced to cover Deng. I don't remember the specifics, but I do remember the Bulls did play Deng occasionally at SG like the Kings would play Ron at PF.
