Mickey Mitchell.. Excellent passes, and amazing hops for an 8th grader.. Not to mention he can handle the ball.. I think he's already 6'8 and is only 14 years old.
Crazy stuff. Saw this as one of the trending topics on yahoo.. Definitely going to keep an eye on him as long as I can.

Look big to me, too. Also, to me didn't look like 8th graders for the most part.
He does look good, although you have to keep in mind the competition he's playing against.
EDIT: I should sften the comment by saying some people probably didn't think my brother looked like an 8th grader when he was one. And he skipped a year of school before he got there. I think he was the only guy in his high school graduating class with a full beard. A grown man's beard, not that wispy stuff, LOL. He ended up at about 6'5."

Maybe? This kid is already being recuited. I was thinking of possibly starting college or maybe a young prospects of the future fourm if the Mod's would go for it. I try and follow most of these kids from their junior year of highschool if possible. I just wonder how many people would be interested in following their progress.
I'd be interested. Always enjoy watching young elite athletes to see how the progress. I still remember watching Matt Barnes play at Del Campo when he was a few years older than me. Do admit that I was disappointed seeing him in person because he was bigger than everyone else and I was expecting him to dunk it every time but he just shot threes
I will check with GJar and see if he would be open to it. We are always happy to have quality input on things like that! I think it would be a great idea to have a forum dedicated to prospects.

That's a good idea Baja. I follow HS prospects however I can so I'd chime in a little when I could to lighten the load.

That guy is no where near 6'8''. He's 6'5'' maximum in that video, and maybe an inch less.
