Suns-mavs (game 2)

Interesting game so far. Mavs have been outplaying Suns for most of the game but nice run by Suns towards the end of the first half to take the lead. Howard is playing well, the ankle doesn't seem to be bothering him.
We're being subjected to David Hasselhof, thanks to Dirk as if having to deal with Cuban isn't punishment enough:(

^ Apparantly when Dirk's at the FT line he likes to sing an old David Hasselhof song that was a big hit in Germany when he was a kid. The press heard about this so now they keep playing it and Hasselhof's at the game tonight.
Mini run by Mavs to go up 6 with 6 minutes to play.
GO SUNS!!

lol...I didn't even know the man sung

Mavs win, and made the plays down the stretch the keep the Suns from stealing another game. Suns had their chances to hit a couple of wide open threes to get back in the game in the last minute, but Tim Thomas couldn't knock them down.

Suns missed a golden opportunity to take this game, imho. Got solid, but not great, performances from Marion, Nash and Tim Thomas (although Thomas grabbed all of one rebound in 40 minutes of action), and Diaw had another very good performance. Unfortunately, apparently Barbosa was on the take --- he hit only 3 of his 15 shots, two of which were three pointers, and missed a number of point black layups. Additionally, he shot a number of ill-advised jumpers that were not within the flow of the offense. If he plays to his abilities and within the flow of the offense, I think the Suns would have won this game (with a little help from terrible performances from Van Horn and Stackhouse, and three quarters of bad play from Jason Terry).

I'll be interested to see if the Suns can protect their homecourt in Game 3, and whether or not Raja Bell will be able to play any minutes.

other than hearing his song played during this game, I'd never heard the man sing, but I remember hearing a few years ago that he was a huge star in Europe after the Baywatch years...

if David Hasselhoff's career is revived - he's got no one but Dirk to thank. This is a ton of publicity for a cast off, no?

Anyway, I told y'all that Josh Howard is super important. Is there any doubt without his services we pull away with a W? Not a chance we win tonight without Howard. Hell I didn't even think he'd play that well with his ankle injury...

Bah! I wanted the nineteen year-old to answer... :p

hoopsie can't help it that she is so old. :p And, she is a young pup compared to me.

p.s. While I did not care much for Hasselhoff, I loved Kit.

Yeah, but I *expected* her to know... heck, she probably knows what Hasselhoff was famous for *before* Knight Rider.

I would have been more impressed if the girl who hadn't even been born yet when Knight Rider went *off* the air knew...

Wasn't he on a soap before Knightrider??
Aye; my mom's second-favorite soap, behind AMC... Everytime I call myself bragging about how I remember Hasselhoff being on Knight Rider, she reminds me about how he used to be Snapper Foster on Y&R.
