I don't mind being in "re-buildling" mode, as long as we put in people who wants to play and give it 110%. If our vets show lack of heart or lethargy, at least play the rookie, then need to build their confidence

So it's perfection or nothing?

I honestly cannot believe the lengths some people go to in order to find something negative to say.

We're REBUILDING, folks. It's not gonna be pretty and we're gonna lose games like this because of it. The Kings didn't give up; they kept up the fight.

Instead of pointing fingers and finding the scapegoat of the night, why not recognize Spencer Hawes, for example, and his THIRD double-double of the season?
I don't have to go through lengths. Our dumb mistakes were right in our face. We didn't need to be "perfect' we just needed to make 1 easy play. And yes, i recognize Hawes good play, but going around pretending like everything fine and dandy isn't the kind of motivation the team needs to improve. Thats why I like Theus, he's a hard ***.

Friggin' Salmons.

Where was JT? I missed portions of this game.
Thompson had a tough matchup tonight, playing against Grant Hill for most of the first half. It was just a bad situation for him, Hill scored a lot on quick drives where he found a seam in the defense and went right for the hoop.
In the 2nd half the Suns used smaller lineups so there wasn't any chance of JT getting back in at the 3 and Theus felt more comfortable with Hawes and Miller at the power positions.

Kings Faithful - Are you also going to acknowledge the GOOD plays? I'm sorry but by all rights this game should not even have been anything remotely resembling close. It was, in good part because of the heart and hustle of the Kings. And a big part of that, especially in the second half, was John Salmons, who is being called upon to play way above the level anyone expected him to reach.

I don't really mean to make this personal with you. I'm just frustrated. These guys played their hearts out. You don't think they wanted the win?

Anyway, I'm done. No offense meant.

:)

Yeah i get your point. We had heart and hustle and it didn't work out for us. Thats basically a summary of the Kings franchise since its been in Sacramento and im sick of it. I want our work to payoff for once. I'm just having a really hard time understanding why we can't do what it takes. And this time it only took 1 play. We need a star on our team, Kevin is a star, but not the kind that we need. For instance PHX has Amare Stoudajakovic to make ridiculous shots for them. Im just depressed....:(

For the most part it was a great team effort. Spencer HAWES.......
SPENCER HAWES is a baller! Everytime I watch him play I get more and more excited.

Now I loved Artest, but I knew it was time for him to go.....sad thing is I also felt like we would be in a bad situation because John Salmons is not that good. He has his games but so can anyone. Overall I do not like him and games like this make me dislike him more. I can't say John is the sole reason we lost today because there is plenty of blame to go around, like brad missed Ft's, but if John would have not gone for the reverse we would have EDIT: at least made it to double OT with a chance to win. HORRIBLE DECISION!!

The Suns tried hard to give us this game but we just could not capitalize.

well.......our crowd was loud!
After tonight its not gonna be. You might think that exciting games will up our attendance but its wins that really do it. Thats another reason im sad right now. If we wouldve hit 500% we were looking at a much fuller Arco, but now were back to 2 down and its gonna be less i believe. Hopefully the fans prove me wrong thoe.

I thought the Suns would be that kind and just give us the win tonight lol
but anyways how could we loss that game?! That was one of those games you will regret not winning in future! just like our first one vs the wolves

I never go into games thinking "guaranteed win" anymore. I hate when other fans do that to our team so im not gonna do it to anyone else. We should win, but we shouldve won tonight and vs detroit, so im not placing my bets.

Very sloppy but exciting game...Kings just couldn't hit the biggest shot.
Douby had a clean look to win it. What else can you ask for when the team makes so many mistakes.
I was pleased Douby got a chance to play. He did play well early, but seemed to get tired late. Although i love B. Jackson, I would rather see Douby get his minutes.

Win or lose, when I get the chance, I go to the game and I am supportive and raucous. Do I want to win? Of course. Is winning necessary for me to enjoy some good fun basketball? Hell no! I guess I come from an era where the joy and excitement of the game of professional basketball with fantastic athletes (who are not any more perfect at what they do than we are at what we do) is why I attend and why I scream my lungs out. I'm the type of fan who enjoys the game itself. I hope I am never so tied to wins and losses that I forget how fun the ride can be.

While there is no such thing as a guaranteed win, I'll be there Sunday having a great time with other passionate fans.

Just came back from the game... some observations..

Brad Really didn't play well, had alot of dangerous/bad passes. Had alot of turnovers, and tried to drive against Shaq in the 4th ending up in another turnover at around the 2minute mark.

Missed some critical freethrows and was largely invisible for the Kings, helped keep Suns in the game..

Salmons was hogging the ball WAYYYY TOO MUCH he just kept dribbling dribbling dribbling and I saw him set up Spencer for failure when he didn't let him get set on a screen making him take the offensive foul..

Spencer Hawes putback dunk should have counted... no OT if that counted and Brad made freethrows..

Salmons shouldnt have gone to the reverse and should have just dunked it at end of OT..

Otherwise good effort and good play drawn up at the end of the 4th..

Didn't understand why Douby was in for alot of 4th and OT

In my opinion Douby's hustle on defense and his potential ability and supposed reputation as a shooter was why he was in there. The plays were all drawn up well, Quincy had the opportunity to put us up a few times but oh well they just missed shots the whole game. Nothing we can do bout that.
